Integrative Health Care Associates was started in 1982 by John Corneal, DC., DIBAK. Dr. Corneal has been a local chiropractor/applied kinesiologist in the State College area for over 30 years. He received his undergraduate degree from Penn State and his chiropractic degree from Life University in Georgia.
He received his advanced training in Applied Kinesiology from the late Dr. George Goodheart, who founded the practice of Applied Kinesiology, and received his Diplomate. John and his wife, Jorene, reside in Huntingdon County. He is the proud father of two children, a son, Paul and daughter, Devon. He is also a proud grandfather.

AK is an interdisciplinary approach to healthcare, which draws together core elements of complimentary therapies, creating a more unified approach to the diagnosis and treatment of functional illnesses. Functional assessment measures are used in posture, gait analysis, manual muscle testing, range of motion, static palpation and motion analysis.
We practice Functional Neurology. As chiropractors, specializing in Applied Kinesiology, we are able to combine mainstream treatment methods with alternative forms, which enables us to determine the source of our patient's condition at a much faster rate. Our diagnostic and corrective techniques involve Chiropractic, Muscle Balancing, Acupressure, Nutritional support, Cranio-Sacral Technique, as well as Neurovascular and Lymphatic Therapy.

He's the town's "body whisperer" - amazing results for each of the many many individuals we have sent to him, and for us. Worth the cost. Fast and efficient, and you'll KNOW what the problem is. Give your body a chance before you start pushing chemicals into it. Not one bad report or disappointed customer from anyone we sent. Treatment seems "weird" till he tells you why it works, but it works amazingly fast. No medications - just a managed body. WAY more than a chiropractor.

My shoulder / back was the worst I've ever experienced. I really had no idea what I was going to do about it. Jeff told me I should come in and see him. He found out the problem was entirely different then what I thought and got me fixed up. This guy knows his stuff. I recommend checking this place out if you're in need of assistance. I don't feel that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. Go here.

Dr. Jeff Scipione, was informative and direct. He was able assess my issues and correct them in a short period of time. My knee injury from over 10 years ago has never felt better with no more lingering issues, and I owe it all to Dr. Scipione. I always tell family and friends to visit, he works wonders.The facility and staff were great. I highly recommend this place.

My family has been going to Dr. Corneal quarterly for years. Each of us have different ailments from sniffles, to sports injuries, to acid reflux, to general neck & back pain... I'm constantly amazed how his work simply allows our bodies to heal and to function better. I notice it most with my daughter who has acid reflux. Everyone knows when something is going on with her. I get her in to him, and her whole mind and body (including behavior) is better. I think it's because she ends up feeling better, which allows her to have more patience, focus, and tolerance. For my son, he's had some sports

As a Chiropractor myself, I understand the challenges of managing a busy practice while providing quality care. Often times we need to sacrifice one in order to allow for the other. This clinic was wonderful. Not only was I taken care of timely, but the care I received was superior to others I have experienced. Plus, I learned a thing or two!
