Physical Therapy promotes wellness, mobility and independent function. Physical Therapists have advanced understanding of how the body moves, what keeps it from moving well and how to restore mobility. Is Physical Therapy for Me? Physical Therapists are experts on movement and function. Mobility problems related to neurological disorders such as stroke, spinal cord injury or Parkinson's disease.
Most people think that when they get Pain, it's just going to go away on its own. That they'll wake up one morning and like "magic", it'll be as if the pain never happened. But then 6 months later you're still living with the pain - often even worse than it was when it came on. At any point in your life, your primary goal may be to restore health and function.
Low back pain is one of the most prevalent injuries in society today and it has been estimated that there has been an increase in back pain complaints by more than 40%. Our back is a complex arrangement of bones, connective tissue, and muscle that all must coordinate together to achieve good movement efficiency to reduce excess strain on our back.
If you've got pain running down the back of the leg- it's very tempting to think that it's nothing, that it will go away on its own. There's no obvious reason why it happened - but it doesn't seem to be improving! Sciatica refers to pain that radiates along the path of the sciatic nerve, which branches from your lower back through your hips and buttocks and down each leg.
Are you having pain trying to reach above your head? When your shirt comes untucked in the back, are you able to easily reach back and tuck it in? Is the pain in your shoulder waking you up at night? Are you not sure what your next step should be? Shoulder pain not only hurts, but it also limits the use of our elbow and hand.

I've been going to Body Balance in Lakeway since Feb. 2019. I have had numerous injuries and surgeries over this time. Everyone I've worked with has been exceptional. I've worked closely with Zoe Crawford for a number of therapies. She's like family! She is so knowledgeable, as well as caring. She's absolutely great. I'm currently working with Nathan Everett, after having a total knee replacement. He has helped me so much, there aren't enough good things to say! Thanks to him, my knee recovery is going really well. All the folks at Body Balance work together to give you the best experience and

The Functional Resiliency ("FR") Program with Nathan is great for my aging, rebuilt body. It keeps me focused on strengthening my body post-surgery as well as identifying other areas of weakness. The home exercises are tailored to those areas needing the most work and change as you progress. Working to keep my body as young as my mind! Highly recommend Body Balance for recovery which continues through the FR program.

I went to PT with extreme tightness in my back...I can only describe it as my back being "frozen" & it was difficult to walk. Cassie worked on my back and did a procedure with needles. When I left I felt so much better that I went to the store, did a few things around our home, laid down for a little while and when I got up my back was 100% better. I had absolutely no pain. The muscles that had been "frozen" & in knots were back to normal, & I had no sciatica pain! What Cassie did was AWESOME & helped 100%!!
GREAT JOB!!!

I worked with Nathan Everett both before a scope for a meniscus tear and during my rehab and he did a wonderful job strenghtening my knee to get me back to my normal routine and back on the golf course. Nathan's knowledge on the body is impressive. I also have to commend the rest of the staff who are friendly and very helpful.

The staff at Body Balance are welcoming & professional. Zoe & Theo have worked with me & relieved the pain from Achilles tendinitis. They listened to to my feedback & encouraged me to email them in between visits. Theo had asignificant impact on my pain relief. I recommend Body balance for physical therapy.

I cannot say enough good things about Body Balance. I recently went thru a total knee replacement and within 4 weeks my therapist there, Joseph Leech, had my knee rotation back a 120 degrees. Joseph is a highly educated physical therapist - truly a top rated and very nice professional PT. Body Balance is the BEST!
