Alcohol and drug addiction is a complex process which causes a person to become psychologically and physically dependent on a substance. People commonly associate addiction from "street" drugs like cocaine and heroin, but you can easily become addicted to prescription drugs as well. Commonly known prescription drugs like Vicodin and Xanax are widely prescribed and highly addictive.

Dual Diagnosis is a term used for those who suffer from a psychological or behavioral illness concurrent with alcohol or drug addiction. In most cases, one condition contributes to, or worsens, the symptoms of the other condition. For example, if you have a psychological disorder, you may start using drugs or alcohol to cope with their symptoms.

I appreciate the care and compassion Quest 2 Recovery provided for me when I spent my time in treatment. Recovery centered me and help me prioritize my goals in life and align my thoughts. They really helped me turn my life around and as of today I fixed all my relationships with friends and family and continue to do so. I had a really great experience at Quest. From detox to every day care to meaningful groups and individual sessions. I really liked the homey feel of the houses and the small group atmosphere. I learned a lot in the 28 days I was at Quest and have continued to receive support from Quest. Staff helped me with setting up my IOP, therapists, Dr. Appointments, Alumni support and tools to navigate the outside world. I feel that the staff here truly cares. Many staff members can personally relate to what I’ve been going through. Learning that I’m not alone. So grateful for my time at Quest.

I have been a firefighter/paramedic in Texas for 25 years. I have spent this time mitigating emergencies for families on the worst day of their lives. It was hard for me to admit that I needed someone to help me. I finally came to Quest. I immediately felt safe and began to receive the tools to regain my wife and family. This, beyond a shadow of a doubt is the best treatment facility you can go to. This place is different than your typical run of the mill rehab. The first difference being its located in a house, so it has a very comfortable homey feel to it. The second being the fact that not only are all the staff terrific at their jobs, but you can tell that every single employee cares about their jobs.
