At Fichman Eye Center, we arrange affordable monthly payments to help fit Laser Vision Correction into your budget. Compared to eyeglasses and contact lenses, the price of this CT lasik eye surgery can pay for itself in a few years time. Eyeglasses usually have to be replaced roughly once a year while contact lenses, depending on the type, can be extremely costly to maintain.
We want you to get all of the benefits you are eligible for from your health insurance coverage. Many health insurance plans require a referral from your primary care physician prior to consultation with a specialist. In addition, most plans also require preauthorization before any type of surgical procedure or laser treatment.

I just had two cataract surgeries in the past two weeks. There are wonderful and special people that work at the Manchester clinic.. I have to highlight two very special nurses, Jenna and Ari who kept me company while waiting for my second eye surgery. They are truly gifts from God. Not everyone is like them but most of the staff are very caring. A few should be a little more focused on the individual and their feelings.

While on vacation, called on-call doctor to send prescription to other state. Dr. Carol Stabile, who was the on-call doctor, had asked when was my return. Said, “Well it’s late, I don’t have access to your records, it’s 10pm at night and I’m off to bed.” This shocking behavior displayed her unprofessionalism, lack of care and compassion towards a patient’s needs. Very insensitive and highly disturbing that a medical professional would behave in such a manner. Would not recommend this doctor. What is her purpose of being on-call if not for situation like this? If there was an option

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!
As other reviews mentioned, this place absolutely wastes your time and the staff is very rude and unprofessional. This place is a money grab as well.
First, I was told on the phone that I would get paper work in the mail but that never came. Once I got to the office, it took me about 20 minutes to fill out all the paperwork required, a lot of it being very repetitive.
Next, I requested specifically on the phone to have my contact lense prescription renewed, and not to have a medical eye exam. Once I get in the office, they start a medical eye exam! I asked the optometrist

My wife had an eye examination and ordered new glasses over a month ago. She is STILL waiting for those glasses and after a call there today. they still don't know if they are done or when they will be. I'm sure had she gone elsewhere she would have paid a lot less and they would have been done a lot sooner.

My appointment in the New Britian Office was TERRIBLE... PERIOD. I was told when making the appointment that I could bring my wife, so she can help me pick out a pair of glasses. The receptionist told us, “She has to leave and wait in the car”. I explained that I was told she could come, but she said, “whoever told you that, was wrong”. Then the technician Lisa Z was down right rude and sarcastic to me. When I finally asked her, why she was in such a bad mood, she told me, if I didn’t like it, I could leave! Well, I did, and I never got to see the doctor. The whole atmosphere in the office

Avoid this place. While my insurance covers glasses and contact exams, they still charged me an additional $50 out of pocket for “contact fitting”. I have been wearing the same kind of contacts for over a decade. When I specifically asked for my prescriptions before leaving, they then refused to give them to me because I needed to “try out the contacts for a few days”. Of course, they would not send me the prescription via email or even fax, so they required that I come back in “to sign for it”. I came back and they couldn’t give me the prescription still because someone wasn’t

Very rude staff. Not recommend at all. Doctors are good but front staff at Manchester location is really bad. Staff member who helped me for my glasses was rushing me. Didn't gave me enough time to choose my glasses. Every 2 min he was asking me am I done. Manager was very rude too she didn't let me try more than 5 frames. Service was good before but now very bad place. Do not go to buy your glasses. Not recommended at all they just focused on making money they don't care about customer satisfaction.

This place is VERY SLOW!!!! Had a 1:15 appointment and my husband had one scheduled for about twenty minutes after mine. We did not get out of their until after 4:00 p.m. THREE hours for two appointments. We never received our new patient packets (even though I called several times in advance to ask for them to be mailed) so when we got there we had to spend extra time filling them out. Every time I call for any reason, I am transferred, put on hold until I'm hung up on, or forwarded to a dead end mailbox system. The optical center where you pick out your glasses feels similar to being herded like
