Hello, I'm Kuntal aka Ms. K. I'm the youngest of four daughters in my family and my parents' favorite child contrary to what my sisters might tell you. I was born in New Delhi, India. I studied, resided and traveled throughout India until graduating from high school in 1994. Post graduating high school I moved to Berkeley, CA where I attended UC Berkeley with a double major in Psychology and Economics.

Our family is forever grateful for finding Little Explorer’s Academy. Our daughter only had a couple of months at a previous daycare before the pandemic and we were concerned how the transition would go after being at home with mom and dad for most of her life. After only a couple of days of transition our daughter now runs into school each day. Oh, how that helps this mama’s heart. Little Explorers Academy is a magical place. Entrusting someone to care for your child, teach them, play with them and console them when they are hurt or scared is no easy task. Parents like myself search far and wide for the best possible place for our little ones to grow and thrive. Ms. K provides everything I could possibly want for my son. We love Ms K and her amazing school. Her home based daycare and preschool is warm and inviting with many colors and interactive toys. Our daughter loves to attend, it happy every day she is there and gets incredible attention. The food is healthy, they spend lots of time outside, interactive games, songs, lessons about culture, food, nature, science, yoga too! The amazing staff take pictures and post updates throughout the day.

LEA is an amazing daycare facility/home and my family is so grateful to have been able to secure a spot with Ms. K.
I chose to enroll my 9mo old (whom is now 2) with LEA because her home was so warm and welcoming. My daughter has thrived at LEA and all the staff have become an extension to our family.
As first time parents, my husband and I have struggled with some of the 'normal' yet difficult transitions of a baby/toddler, and Ms. K has always given us the support necessary to ensure we are all consistent with our daughter's care.
We chose LEA vs. Kindercare or other similar

I do not recommend this daycare. If you are the type of parent who has a lot of questions and feedback for the people taking care of your kids, like I did, this daycare is not for you. I had a LOT of concerns regarding covid, smoky air, and a few other small things. Many times I was met with resistance and defensiveness. I can admit to being a picky parent, but LEA and I did not mesh well. They also specialize in well-behaved kids, so if your toddler has some terrible 2's or 3's, things may not go well for you.

We moved to Folsom in the summer of this year and were delighted with all the high quality childcare options available. After careful consideration we chose Little Explorers due to the excellent teacher to child ratio, smaller class size and good mix of freedom and structure in the curriculum. In the 7 months since we're reminded every day that we made the right choice. Ms. K. puts great care into hiring the best teachers and only the best make the cut. She is also laser focused on cleaning and sanitation which is a huge relief during the current COVID times. Our daughter loves going

I can't say enough good things about LEA. We moved to the area in the summer and I was so sad to leave my daughters daycare in our old town because she had been there for two years and thrived. I interviewed with Ms. K and I was comforted by her views on raising children and her pride in her program and facility. I was however dreading our first drop off and how it was going to go; Would she cry? Would she be scared of the new place? Nope! Ms K & Ms Ali are wonderful and are on top of everything. I couldn't ask for more attentive, caring, and thorough care than at Little Explorer Academy Childcare. My children come home everyday with beautiful artwork and tell me all the things they've learned. There is something new each day that always "wows" us. Ms K works hard to provide quality, and compassionate care. She is honest and has integrity and kindness in all she does. We currently have our 4 year old and 2 year old children at LEA (Little Explorers Academy) and they love it. The kids look forward going to Ms.K's every time and are very happy when we pick them up at the end of the day. Ms. K and her team are very kind and loving while fostering a nurturing, enriching, safe, and fun environment for all children. As a parent it can be hard or even scary to leave your children with another but everyday I know that my children are safe and well cared for at LEA. What I also love about LEA are the daily updates, pictures, and notes through the easily accessible Brightwheel

Ms. K and her team were lifesavers for my family. At the beginning of this year we had a 3 year old foster daughter placed with us. The loving, structured environment at LEA allowed for our girl to settle in and feel comfortable almost immediately. Little Explorers Academy has been such a blessing to our family! When It was time to go back to work after having my second son, our current daycare center did not have enough room for him which left us feeling worried and anxious. After extensive research and multiple personal referrals, we were led to Ms. K at LEA. As soon as we met her we could feel the love she had for her children. Little explorers Academy is an amazing place to work; from wonderful families that helped me enjoy my job, to an amazing team lead by Ms. K. Every day was a new experience; families are welcomed any time of day during business hours to come and go as they please with Ms. K's open door policy. Children are free to be themselves while staying on a routine that is best suited for their needs as well as the other children. We love Little Explorers! I feel like I am dropping my sons off at a relatives house, that is how comfortable I am with them! Ms.K and Ms.Lindsay are fun, down to earth, professional and exceptionally good with kids. I truly believe it is a special gift to be good with children and these two have it. I love the combination of play based learning, manners, and positive discipline that my kids receive. We feel lucky to have found this environment for our boys!
