Dr. Elissa Grossman graduated from National University of Health Sciences in 1996. During her final year of studies, she completed an internship in the city, which is when she fell in love with Chicago. She is pleased to serve the Old Town and Gold Coast communities with a noninvasive, conservative form of health care.

As an animal lover since she was a child, Dr. Grossman thought she would become a veterinarian. A sister stricken with allergies, however, had her life changed by the chiropractor. Their family tried everything like medications and injections, all to no avail. Getting adjusted, however, changed her sister's life.

I had a walk-in appointment and was extremely concerned about the lack of precautions the team at Chiropractic Chicago took in regards to COVID.
I will caution that Dr. Grossman was not in the office, but when I arrived neither the receptionist nor the substitute Chiropractor wore masks. At first I thought this surely was just an accident, until I walked into the waiting room where a video played on a reel that essentially tried to dispel mask-wearing and downplayed the severity of COVID. There was no hand sanitizer, nor were they cleaning after patients used equipment. I felt extraordinarily

I have been with Dr. Grossman for 3 years and she has always managed to help reduce my chronic back pain and shoulder pain every time I come in for adjustment. She is extremely knowledgeable and is very good physician who is also compassionate and actually takes her time listening to your concerns. I definitely would recommend her to anyone who is looking for effective holistic treatment for their chronic pain.

Dr. Elissa Grossman has kept me together for 20 years. Most importantly eliminating my prior extensive back problems, but at the same time looking after my total health. I enjoy a pretty extensive workout schedule which includes running lifting and swimming and on a number of occasions Dr. Grossman has done an excellent job of getting me through injuries and back to the weights and the treadmill. One time I walked into her clinic limping and bent over 5 days before a triathlon and 5 days later I was able to compete without the back pain.

Dr. G has immensely helped me with my pain. Ever since i started going to this location, my energy level and pain level have changed dramatically. I was unable to workout on a regular basis because of the pain I would feel, and that has all changed. I would recommend her to anyone I come across and will continue to go Chiropractic Chicago as long as possible.

I have been a patient of Chiropractic Chicago and Doctor Grossman since about 2003. She has consistently provided excellent and very affordable care in her office. She has helped me turn my health around, offering not only spinal adjustments but many other alternative and holistic medicinal treatments. She has provided my family and I attentive and thorough physical therapy work through my many years of playing ice-hockey, soccer and rock climbing. Dr. Grossman has been adjusting me for 24 years. I followed her to old town as she is continuously teaching me new things and has saved me fro so many health issues. Specifically, lower back pain, numbness in my hands, orthotics for foot pronation and more.

Dr G. Great attitude! However, I feel a tad disappointed & mislead. The receptionist didn't inform me that there was a consultation fee?
I appreciate that they saw me last minute spur of the moment, I was inquiring about signage on the window, I asked if I could get more info or come in since I was already in the area, the receptionist check with the doctor & let me know they could see me.
I filled out questionnaires and waited for the doctor, the doctor let me know she fitted me in her busy schedule & I thanked her, she talked to me about 15 mins about

Dr. Grossman is an awesome Doctor, she has treated several discomforts over the last 7 years.....infractions that would have been treated with surgery or harmful drugs. Dr. Grossman made becoming healthier simple and painless. I encourage anyone that is interested in feeling healthier, to contact Chiropractic Chicago....also, her staff is pleasant and helpful.

I have dealt with back issues (2 herniated disks, and a bulging disk) for many years and used medication as a way of dealing with it. I have always been a skeptic on Chiropractors.So, I decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. I started 2 weeks ago with Dr. Grossman and have seen incredible changes (more flexibility, less stiffness, muscles have relaxed, and less pain in the morning). I would recommend her to anyone!

I started seeing Dr. Grossman a month after a bad fall. My initial impression of this place was why is it so outdated? But its in Old Town and I figured it was the look. I was wrong the whole education is outdated. I had to watch a video on the care they provide and do all these x-rays and tests and without even being told what the injury was she had already tried to sell me on amount of treatments and special inserts for my shoes. She then spoke about a few issues in my spine and brought up the term subluxation. So of course I thought ok that makes sense and I went ahead and had a few treatments

Dr. Grossman will make sure that you are receiving that best quality Chiropractic care possible. She was able to custom fit me for orthotics and correct my lower back discomfort in a few short months. She has the ability to treat you with Electrotherapy and many other top of the line treatment methods. I would highly recommend Dr Grossman!

I was recently in a car accident where I ended up getting some whip-lash. After looking for a conveniently located chiropractor, I found Dr. Grossman. I have now been twice and I really appreciate all of her knowledge and comfort. I do recommend this office for any chiropractic treatment but do suggest not being in a hurry when you come (which makes parking with the meters a little tricky). The offfice can get busy which then bumps everyones appointment around a little bit so give yourself plenty of extra time.

I saw Dr Grossman and her staff for many months after moving to Chicago and needing relief for my carpal-tunnel-like symptoms (really caused my muscle strain due to computer use). She is great to work with and really deals well with explaining things. The front office staff (Margaret and Cristiana) also are the best ladies... always ensure that bill are in order, doing treatments, and good to talk with.
I -highly- recommend this office for anyone looking for chiropractic case, massage therapy, and the many other services they offer (like acupuncture).

Aside from my initial first impression of this place, which was not good. They turned over what was supposed to be a workman's comp insurance claim to a collection's agency 2 years after doing work on me without so much as a phone call to let me know what was going on.
