Services
Unlike many skilled nursing centers, Park Manor of The Woodlands is equipped with the advanced technologies and specialized resources to care for high-acuity patients, as well as those with multiple illnesses, injuries, pulmonary conditions, or rehabilitative issues. When caring for yourself at home becomes a burden, we are here to assist you.
24 hour healthcare by licensed nurses or medication aides to administer your medications and/or treatment. Certified nursing assistants to assist with taking a shower or bath, eating, dressing, going to the bathroom or simply walking. Attending Physician services to guide and direct your care for maximum comfort and highest level of functioning.
Rehabilitation and therapy is a team effort - carefully coordinated by a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists for physical, occupational, respiratory, and speech rehabilitation. We work closely with you and your family to develop a customized rehabilitation program that challenges you to rise above today's limitations to work toward wellness.
We serve patients coping with such injuries and illnesses as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, Stage 3 and 4 wounds, joint replacements with complications, and multi-system failure - often in conjunction with other conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure. Whatever your situation requires, we seamlessly coordinate the many components of your care.
First, I want to express my appreciation to you for the multitude of good life preserving things you do for thousands of people. I am grateful to be one of them. Special unexpected circumstances sometime occur of course and I experienced one. My roommate's oxygen concentrator, which is rather quiet, still produced noise that kept me awake.

The office/admin staff is an absolute nightmare. I don’t think that even 2 people there are on the same page about anything. Baths were skipped & medications weren’t managed properly. Staff hid in my mothers room when she was on the rehabilitation side. I could go on all day. If your loved one has you listed as POA, the admin (Martha) will tell you that LTC trumps a POA. Very suspicious practices.

I arrived at Park Manor of The Woodlands on December 19th of 2021 after spending several weeks in the Hospital at Memorial Hermann. All of this was due to a turn of bad luck and an infection of my spinal column in 2 vertebrae in my lower neck. I had to undergo an emergency surgery of the vertebrae in my neck followed by a second surgery to finish up the surgery procedure. I arrived at Park Manor not really sure if I could stay in a Nursing facility and have strangers take care of me. I had never before been in a situation like that in my life. I was always self reliant. It didn’t take long for

Horrible place. My mother was there for 8 days after a long stay in the hospital. She was supposed to be here for a minimum of 2-3 weeks. I brought her home on day 8 against medical/Dr advice so that she could be properly taken care of and get the care she needed. I feel for the people that have to be in this place that either cannot take up for themselves or do not have family to make sure that they are cared for.

I started my journey with the Park Manor/Woodlands family in April of this year; and I am so very happy that I made the decision to join this team of outstanding professionals. We are truly a family that cares, not only for each other, but also for the residents that are trusted to our care. Sure, we have our problems like everyone else...but we work hard to resolve the problems and put systems in place that will prevent the problems from happening again. After 30 years in the LTC industry I can finally say, "I am very happy with my new job".

This Facility has done a superb job during this past year of protecting residents from Covid. This time was difficult for staff and residents. We lost some great people, but thanks to a caring staff we have remained strong. During the recent freeze many staff stepped up once again. Office personnel, Maintenance, housekeeping, therapists nurses and CNA's picked up extra shifts, anything to keep things running smoothly, to make it easier on residents, A good Facility progressing towards making more memorable happy times. ~J. I have been a resident at Park Manor of The Woodlands for 9 years. I am Pleased with staff and I am treated really well. AV, the current administrator, Is the best administrator that we have had. AV is easily accessable and very forthcoming with results. Nursing staff is excellent, very caring and very prompt to attend my needs.

My grandmother is staying here currently. She just begged me over the phone to get her out because the staff isn’t treating her well. She was so upset. So I’ve been calling the facility - I’ve called 5 times in less than an hour and no one is even answering my call!
UPDATE: Finally got through after over an hour of calling. After being on hold for 45 minutes (it rang back to the front desk once), I got hung up on/the call ended.
