My brother attended this facility after he suffered a major stroke. The family had no idea this type of service existed but, glad we found them. The staff was very attentive and friendly but, if I could I have to recognize one particular staff member Casemanger Kristen Johnson who went above and beyond for my brothers continuity of care at home. She was very professional and provided first class service from the day we were introduced to my brothers departure. Even now if I had a question or concern regarding my brothers care she doesn’t hesitate and promptly responds back with the best advise

My dad has just been recommended to this place … and is going to be transferred to this place in a bit …
My dad is a neuro patient, I have a few doubts about this place, but since this was recommended by his doctor, then… we’ll see how “well” their facility really is …
My dad can’t speak just yet but I hope he does soon and tells me how the nurses & staff treat him…

It's not how you start but how you finish!!! When I arrived at this facility I was truly in a place of frustration, disbelief, and being down about my situation. I suffered a stroke and was diagnosed with autoimmune disease and the worst part unable to move my entire left side. However I had determination that I would not leave the facility the same way I came!! It was a tough journey but I made up in my mind to celebrate my daily and weekly wins!!! I am so grateful for the Physical therapists and Occupational therapist for having patience and never giving up on me! I also have to thank the CNA

This facility extends beyond the traditional physical, occupational, and speech therapies, which makes it a good facility for rehabilitation .
My only suggestion is to be involved with your love ones overall care while their an inpatient residence.
Most staff is friendly. The visitation scheduler Ms. Geranda is awesome makes the scheduling process to visit your love one pleasant and welcoming!

My daughter Kristen Johnson works for this agency and I must say, since she began her career here, she’s back to her vibrant, enthusiastic and energetic self. Since she was a little girl, she’s always loved helping others so it’s no surprise this is her career of choice.. Although she’s worked in this field for a few years, it wasn’t until she came to Nexus Neurorecovery that I’ve witnessed this shift in her level of enthusiasm. Not to mention, she can’t stop talking about how well you take care of your staff.
Thanks Nexus Neurorecovery for supporting my daughter in doing what she

I spent approximately 6 weeks of my life living at Nexus this past Summer. While I didn't want to be there, I also didn't want to suffer from a stroke in June of 2020.
All of the staff there are top notch professionals. I saw near miracles come to life with their care and patience. Everyone was extremely friendly and would go way above and beyond their job description to help anyone in need. I don't have enough room to list the names of each individual, but all played an instrumental role in my recovery. I won't forget them and what they taught me about coping with my injury.
I hope I never get

Alycyn Bolton has been the greatest staffing coordinator I have ever had the privilege of meeting. She is not only patient but also passionate about what she does. I would highly recommend anyone working for Nexus Neurorecovery Center. One aide in particular who has been more than welcoming is a lady named Monica. I was new to a specific house and she had no problem educating me on the residents which made for a great shift. Thank you Nexus for giving me the opportunity to work in your facility.

After looking and looking for a facility for my son we finally were referred to Touchstone. Not only did my son obtain a major traumatic brain injury in March of 2016 he had previously struggled with addiction and mental illness. After a few months of being home and in recovery from his TBI my son really was struggling with drug use, mental illness and contemplating suicide. The journey to get him to Touchstone was one of my most difficult things to do as a parent but once he arrived there and started his recovery the worry started to feel less. My son stayed at Touchstone approximately 4 months
