Behind every great restaurant is a great dreamer, and Pompei's Restaurant & Pizza is no exception. The owner, Gennaro Manganaro, has worked in the food industry since he was 11 years old. Gennaro, a native of Naples, Italy, came to Pennsylvania at age 19 to work with the family pizza business. In 1986, Gennaro purchased Pompei's Restaurant & Pizza in hopes of continuing a family business.

Terrible pasta and the pizza is not that good do not get food here makes u sick, also I can't reply to ur comment so I decided to edit mine, uhm I've eaten here before, ur food is not good and smelled really bad there's nothing to lie about if I can give u 0 stars I would, don't discredit my opinion because you can't make good food. Thank you very much and everyone go to pizza hut across the street its so much better

I took my family here recently, and was pleasantly surprised at how good the pizza and wings are. I do not like my wings swimming in the sauce, and that’s just the way they make them, absolutely perfect. Pizza was good also, the wife and kiddo also gave it a thumbs up. Put this on your list of go to places in the area. Great service, affordable prices, very clean, we will be back thank you.

First time eating food from here will not be returning at all. If i could give 0 stars I would. The pizza was alright but nothing incredibly special to make it stand out. The pasta i had ordered has a weird smell to it. I tried it anyways maybe it was good, no. The only flavor the pasta had was the weird smell coming from the chicken bits. Where is the seasoning??? 0/5 only come here if the other resturants are closed!

My parents love this place so I decided to order when I was visiting. I had the eggplant parm sandwich, which was very good. The eggplant was sliced thin and wasn't greasy at all, which is the way I like it. My sister had the chicken parm sandwich, mom had the spaghetti, and dad had the veal cutlet in the garden. Everyone's plate was clean.

Where do I start with Pompei's. They've been here forever, at least as long as I can remember. I've always loved their pizza. You can't go wrong here. The Stromboli and sandwiches are really good as well. They're very friendly. My only gripe is they are cash only. Not too big a deal, but it does bug me to have to stop at the atm every time.
