People who are sick or injured often feel ill-equipped to deal with the healthcare system. A Nurse Advocate becomes their expert guide and ally, making sure they understand their options and get the best care. Unions and employers can offer advocacy as a benefit. Individuals can engage us hourly. If you manage a self-funded health plan, you want to help members take care of themselves.

Yet some face crisis after crisis due to preventable or manageable health conditions. Our Mobile Care Coordinator (MCC) Program breaks that cycle when a nurse literally shows up during a crisis and forms a bond of trust. Struggling with a healthcare issue? Get peace of mind with Guardian Nurses on your side and by your side every step of the way.
Services
Guardian Nurses advocacy services are performed by professional RNs, LPNs and social workers who have a passion for helping patients and at least 10 years of experience in nursing and healthcare issues. All of them have outstanding clinical knowledge as well as significant experience managing and coordinating care.
Our team of Registered Nurses has one goal: To make the healthcare system work for patients and families. When you enter the healthcare system, it's often because you or someone you love is sick or injured or in need of long-term care. You have questions and you need help. What you find is a confusing maze of tests and treatments, opinions and options, endless forms, unfamiliar terms, hard choices to make and large bills to pay.
In today's healthcare system, patients interact with numerous providers, receive multiple drugs and treatments, and face complicated insurance coverage. Even the savviest consumers can be confused about their options and wonder whether they or their loved one is receiving the right care. In fact, we all have reason to wonder: Research shows that only slightly more than half of Americans actually get the appropriate care when they are sick.
Mobile Care Coordinator Program drives superior patient engagement - and major cost savings. Have you tried everything to engage your members or employees in managing their health and making good healthcare decisions?. Are you frustrated that the programs are not working - and neither are the people who are disabled by their preventable or manageable health conditions?.
Guardian Nurses recommends these reliable healthcare websites to patients and their families. When doing research on the internet, make sure you are accessing the websites of organizations you can trust. These organizations provide help and information to patients about diagnoses, medications, facilities, and financial assistance for medications.
