Dr. Worrell has a background as a clinical professor at uc regarding the teaching of infants and children's eye conditions, and recommends that children, before they start school, need to have a thorough health and functional exam. Screening tests or general eye exams are not good enough. If their eyes don't track, focus or coordinate, they have trouble learning.

Great doctor but poor customer service and fraudulent selling practices. I have been going to Advanced Vision for 10 years seeing Dr. Shin but after being ripped off I won't be going back. I think he is very competent and personable but the front office is a mess. I got a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses and paid almost $400 for them in May 2015. They gave me headaches from day 1 and so I brought them back. They adjusted the prescription and remade them with the same result. Cindy and Kerry said they couldn't do anything else. They never offered me a frame exchange on $250 frames which is Maui Jim policy

I booked an appointment in morning as new patient and arrived on time around 2:40pm for my appointment but they have made me wait for more than 45 min in waiting area. They are just letting old patients go in fast for eye exam and new patients need to wait in line.
They just keep in saying to wait for 5-10 min more and never tell you the exact waiting time.
Very poor customer service.

So glad that I pick this office from the list. This place has one of the best selection of frames!! Dr. and staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Loved how big the office is. BIG OFFICE = lots of room to move around and not bump into anyone well checking out their HUGE selection of frames!!

Terrible customer service!!
Visited the clinic 5 weeks ago and ordered a pair of glasses. Was promised the shipment would be delivered in less than 2 weeks. When called back to check the status they said it's delayed by a week. Called back today (5 weeks from the original ordered date), now they say it'd take 2 more weeks. Without bothering to give an excuse or an explanation for the delay, she just hung up the phone.
Rudest customer service I've ever experienced. Serious waste of time and money, no idea when I will receive the glasses.

The Dr. made weak prescription and I paid over $2k with two frames and trying to schedule a new exam and 🙁....
Trying to make an appointment and no one picks up the phone.
My last appointment was scheduled but when I showed up to pick up my new glasses it was not in the books and a different person was surprised that I was even there.
Apparently, there is no doctors on Friday and I wanted to pick up my frames when the doctors are there ... that was communicated to me.
So far I am not a happy camper snd if this continues I would not recommend this place.

I have been seeing Dr. Worrell for over 15 years at Advance Vision Center. He takes the time to understand and gain a holistic picture of my health and vision. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and pragmatic with his approach and spends the time to answer all the questions.
Once, while I was traveling in India, he took my call despite his busy schedule and helped me resolve an issue quickly over the phone and is always available when a situation arises. He is the best doctor I have come across and would highly recommend for vision needs.
