We exist to provide the highest level of care at the most affordable rate. We are here to help. For this reason, we created the Canaan Cares Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) group, which helps fund research and care options for elderly and disabled individuals. A portion of every dollar we make goes to the Canaan Cares Foundation.
At Canaan Home Care and Canaan Cares Foundation, our mission is to care for you and your family. Whether you are in need of regular scheduled daily care, live-in assistance, highly skilled specialized care, or just respite help, we have solutions that will meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
We maintain the highest possible standards when it comes to home care. Our caregivers are rigorously screened, both before and after hiring. All of our caregivers are fully licensed and bonded and are covered by our liability and workers compensation insurance policies. Our caregivers receive continuing education, are continually supervised, and exceed all state requirements.
Canaan Home Care understands both quality and cost are important to most consumers. We are committed to providing the absolute best care at the most affordable prices. Canaan Home Care was the first company to publish skills and rates, which allows clients to determine the skill level/experience and corresponding cost to best match their expectations.
Most of our caregivers are licensed by the state and are either Medical Assistants, Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), or Licensed Nurses (LVN or RN). All have passed a very thorough screening process, including a 50-state criminal background check, detailed reference checks, behavioral interviews, and caregiver competency tests.

If you need help for your loved one, run, don't walk to Canaan Home Care for assistance! I honestly can't give this company enough stars. Case Coordinators in Orange County were amazing. Caregivers are kind, professional, and sincerely good people. The level of professional care, along with a loving attitude is beyond your hopes.

My elderly grandma fell a few months ago and had to be hospitalized for a couple of weeks. I was very worried and concerned about her being home alone. I heard about Canaan home care through a coworker. The experience has been awesome. They got us home care right away with a great caregiver. I feel so much better knowing we have Canaan home care watching out for my grandma

After our grandmother had to have emergency surgery no one was able to stay home and take care of her but all other in home senior care was WAY too expensive!
