Great staff, great techs, took care of me properly and safely, good environment, they feed you nicely to get back and healthy and ready for a nice sober life. Would recommend it to any family or friend struggling with addiction/alcoholism. Best place to begin your road to recovery. I called for help from New York and I was in the detox center in Florida by the end of the same day.

With drug addiction and alcoholism impacting thousands on a regular basis, there is a higher demand for addiction therapy programs than ever before. In fact, over 19.7 million people in America above the age of 12 or older struggled with alcohol and drug addiction in 2017, according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
Alcohol is rarely mentioned on lists of the most dangerous and deadly drugs, but with the amount of damage it does to those who abuse it and need an alcohol detox program, maybe it should be. In 2015, the groundbreaking National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) showed that among those surveyed, over 50% reported consuming alcohol at some point during the past month.

This place is deplorable. Do not believe any positive reviews. They held my son captive like a prisoner. They take clients outside once a day for 15 minutes and march them around in a circle like prisoners. The staff, specifically Ms. Jeffreys, is rude and berates the clients in front of everyone. They do everything in their power to keep you there just so they can continue to bill your insurance. They are impossible to reach and give you the runaround, along with much misinformation.

Upon entering the facility I had dealt with the Admissions team who made me feel safe and confident in my decision. I took a huge leap of faith and I am so grateful I did. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comforted and loved. The groups were one of my favorite parts each day (aside from the Meals). Thank you for changing my life and setting me up with the tools I needed to be successful.

As an employee of The Detox at the beginning the work atmosphere for me was empowering and as Management did not micromanage. With the changes in Management the experience was less than stellar. It became the "good-ole-boys club" with it a lot of backstabbing and in fighting. In lieu of Counseling, employees were let go without any documentation of corrective actions. The work atmosphere is toxic as some people were targeted and others were shown favoritism.
