At each of Athena's managed facilities, our professional caregivers are committed to providing an atmosphere that allows our long-term residents and short-term patients to meet their physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs in a caring, homelike environment. Our short-term rehabilitation and post-hospital care includes orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurological, and post-surgical recovery and rehabilitation, to name a few. Our team also specialize in those with medically complex care, post-substance abuse treatment and traditional long-term skilled nursing care.

Semi-private patient accommodations are comforting and bright with large windows and an open display. Our dining room tables area always decorated for residents; this gives them a fine dining experience in the comfort of their home. Our man cave allows men (and all residents) to take a trip down memory lane and do some of their favorite past-times.

My father was admitted for recovery and rehab after a knee surgery. A one star rating is too high for the care he has received. Being in mobile he has to be helped to bathroom. There has been several occasions where he has needed to use the bathroom and after using the assist button the response was over 30 minutes which resulted in accidents. This has happened several times. They have not followed directions for his medication schedule and have over and under medicated him. He is supposed to be receiving physical therapy daily which is not consistent and last for twenty minutes when they do show

My father in law is recuperating here after a partial hip replacement! Excellent care and physical therapy! Wonderful attentive staff and a warm and comfortable home feel! We recently visited a relative receiving palliative hospice care there (they have many levels of service, btw). We did not tour the building, but what we saw of the facility and staff was reassuring. Protocols were clear; PPEs were provided and hand sanitizer was just steps away from every location. The rooms were bright and cheerful and the all areas that we saw were tidy and smelled clean. Our relative's room and bed were fresh looking and it appeared that good care was being taken.

I have been at a different facility before and I have excellent care here in comparison. The place is immaculately clean. The staff are very kind and fabulous. I live in NY state and the nursing home is much closer to home. I will recommend this place. The administrator comes in to my room everyday and checks to see if I need anything. I'm blessed to be here and getting great help!

Fortunately I was able to come to Sharon for rehab and I have been treated here several times in the past. The staff are extremely courteous and they treat patients with extreme respect. I can't talk highly enough about the nurses, therapy and other professional staff in helping out their patients to navigate through the the complex healthcare system. I have honestly never felt more comfortable with Sharon staff than any other places I have been in the past. These folks need to be recognized for their good work.

I was here almost two months and had excellent care from the staff, especially nursing staff and the aides. When I needed something they were so happy to help and never had a "grumpy" face. I know how hard these jobs can be and they do it with such grateful heart. I always felt comfortable at the facility and the staff. I see a lot of smiling faces at the facility which shows how people are satisfied with the care. I would recommend the facility and will be my first choice if I needed care again in the future.

I like the staff and they are highly personable and easily approachable. I like the diverse activities they offer for their residents. I like my physician at the facility and the medical team. The quality of the meals is wonderful and the fact that they offer various options is amazing. The food supervisor is also easily available if residents have any questions or concerns. I also like the group therapy offered by the social worker. I think the facility is great and is highly recommended.

The staff at Sharon healthcare is highly qualified in the field. The therapy team is excellent. When I call for help they answer swiftly and will address my needs. Not only because it was close to my house in NY , and my husband had been treated here before, I know how good the care the staff provides to their patients. I would recommend the facility to anyone.

The staff are professional, caring and kind to the residents. I have had good experiences with the staff and not one has ever been rude to me. I had great therapy here and they helped me able to walk. All the credits go to the team for their wonderful work. I like that the facility is extremely clean, especially the room (the girls do a good job). Recommended.

Sharon health care center has the best staff to help their patients. They address all my medical and psychosocial issues right away. The facility is clean and is located in the best part of Sharon. The staff are extremely friendly in nature and makes the patients feel comfortable with their stay. There are so many activities they do with the patients which are commendable.

I have been to many other facilities in the area and what these guys do at Sharon is phenomenal and uplifting. I find the staff to be responsible and they do an outstanding job. The meals are wonderful. I couldn't talk enough about the staff being nice to their patients. I would give this facility a 11 star rating!!!

I have worked in several rehab ltc centers and found this ,as a residents family member as one the most pleasant,caring,with a great therapy staff,nurses that really care about their residents and not only meds,i dont believe the star system is fair for compare to the places i've worked this place is so much better

I'm particularly happy with the therapy team and is happy with services especially because the staff wants to help their patients out of their way. These folks care about their patients unlike many other places I have been in the area. Everyone does their job really well, but they also show kindness and humanity to patients which is important in healthcare and is often missed. The kitchen supervisor was highly accommodating to my diet. I would recommend the facility.
