I'm very sorry that it has taken me so long to respond back to you regarding my husband's recent visit with Hamden Health. My husband was in another facility which I had to end of taking him out of because of the care he received. Now, my concern is that my husband needs a long care facility and I am requesting to return back to Hamden Health Care Center.

Our 27 bed short-term rehabilitative unit, Meadowbrook, offers an innovative and advanced approach to short-term rehabilitation. As a preferred provider for many Connecticut and New York Hospitals, our clinical collaborations and pathways integrate expertise from top rated hospitals and practitioners.
Our experienced therapists employ a variety of therapeutic interventions for patients with neurological-muscular disorders. Comprehensive therapy plans for patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's Disease, Guillain-Barre Syndrome and other related disorders aim to improve activities of daily living, functional mobility and ambulation.
Our nursing staff is IV Certified and can administer intravenous Lasix, Dilaudid, steroids, antibiotics, analgesic pumps and TPN, when indicated. Portacath, Hickman and PICC line management are expertly managed and maintained to promote healing and recovery. Our team employs an evidence based approach to pain management that starts with a pain assessment.
