Attorney Robert J. Sisson represents clients in a variety of matters including OWI and other criminal matters, bankruptcy, Wis. Stat. Chapter 128 debt amortizations, traffic charges, and juvenile criminal matters. He is known for being a dedicated and passionate motivator and zealously working to achieve great results for clients.
Even a misdemeanor conviction can result in fines and jail time. There are also hidden consequences for misdemeanor and felony convictions. It can be more difficult to find a job or housing. An OWI conviction can result in astronomical car insurance premiums. With a domestic violence conviction in Wisconsin, you will never be allowed to own or operate a firearm, not even for hunting.
You've probably also heard about the "right to remain silent, and that anything you say may be used against you in court." For this reason, you should not discuss your case with anyone other than your attorneys, as those with whom you discuss your case might be called at trial to be a witness against you.
Our two attorneys collectively have more than 50 years of legal experience and knowledge gained in over 300 jury trials. We have helped thousands of people in your situation. Whenever district attorneys run for office, they promise to be extra tough on people in your circumstances. In fact, all the people in the courtroom - the judge, the DA, the bailiff, and others - work for the state.
An OWI conviction (operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant or other drug) is a serious matter. It could result in fines, jail time, significant driver's license suspension or revocation, and high insurance rates or potential policy cancellation. If the OWI is a felony, then all the consequences of having a criminal record can also apply.

I hope that some day Len finally wakes up, realizes that he was complicit in robbing a totally innocent, 16 year-old boy of the rest of his life, and is no longer able to sleep again. There is not a single human being, even with the coldest of hearts, that can watch that video of Len's Private Investigator beating the hell out of his teenage client without becoming physically ill. Len Kachinsky did that, he purposely threw one of his clients to the wolves, one of his clients that he was legally required to defend and protect. Instead of defending his young, innocent client, for whatever reason

Len - it makes me wonder how you passed the bar. Following the Steven Avery case, it makes me sick. How you could be so blind to the fact to Brendan's disability. You got pushed around like Brendan has during this whole process. Maybe you should have been more like a pit bull, like Brendan's mom, I believe you had said that in an interview. You seem like a scared person who was only doing this for the pure benefit of your own personal image. Instead you let a boy with a learning disability to be put in jail.
