Termites love San Diego's climate as much as we do, and nothing turns a dream home into a nightmare faster than a termite infestation. Termites don't just invade San Diego homes; they consume them from the inside! Did you know San Diego ranks 11th in the U.S. for termites? Our year-round beautiful climate is ideal for both subterranean and drywood termites, so your home is at risk all year long.
Pests in your San Diego home are much more than a nuisance. Whatever your home is teeming with - ants, spiders, bees, wasps, fleas, silverfish, cockroaches, bedbugs or anything else on legs or wings - you're surrounded by nasty, unclean bugs. These invaders are nesting in your home, bringing smells, droppings, and diseases with them.
Rats, mice and other rodents want to live in your San Diego home for the same reasons you do: food, water and shelter. They want to burrow into your walls, eat your food, and build a nest out of whatever's in your attic. Once rats, mice and other enterprising rodents make nests, they'll raise a family that will spread more droppings, disease and fleas throughout your home.
Termites are, for sure, one of the most damaging insects that you can't wish to attack your property. Once they invade your property, they can destroy even crops around your farm, buildings, and wooden furniture. The worse part of termites is that it's hard to detect them at the early stages, and most of the time, you will see them when they have already done the damage.

Twin Termite did inspection and treatment of our house as part of a sale and our purchase. They treated the facia board and joining beam, and said if any more show up that a more extensive treatment would be called for. Within the warranty period, we found extensive termite residue in the very same area, but extending over 6 feet from the original treated area. We had them come out to inspect and treat, and they did a superficial inspection, merely walking around the house and looking up at the facia boards. They treated the apparent affected area, from the outside, not opening any of the boards
