Dr. Trang Chesler earned her bachelors in Psychology at UCLA in Westwood, California. She then went on to cross-town rival USC where she earned her Dental Hygiene degree. She continued on at USC where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating ahead of her class. Dr. Chesler has remained academically active and up to date on the latest dental procedures and technologies.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chesler's for a couple of years now, and every visit has been exceptional. Dr. Chesler and her staff are mindful of my history of dental anxiety and put me at ease the entire visit. I wish I would have found this office sooner! Highly recommend! I saw Dr. Chesler for the first time about two years ago for an implant following an extraction. She was very thorough and took the time to explain everything. The process was smooth and I received professional care and a perfect outcome. I quickly switched to her as my regular dentist.
I also see Lisa who is an outstanding hygienist in the office. She makes the whole cleaning process painless and enjoyable.

I came to Dr. Chesler for a second opinion a year or so ago and I'm here for the long run. Dr. Chesler is very nice, informative and runs a great practice. The hygienists are all great. The receptionist is very nice and helpful as well. After looking through the reviews I noticed multiple people complaining about not seeing the Dr during their visit. Im not sure if everyone knows how this works, but not every visit includes an exam by the doctor, nor is it necessary. I would recommend this practice to anyone. In my opinion, the prices are fair and this practice provides excellent patient care

I have been to this office 3 times for routine cleaning in the span of 18 months. I saw the dentist only 1 time. The other 2 times I was told she left to pick up her kids from school and the 2nd time, I was told she just left but because I had no issues, it wasn't a problem. Please note that I had just seen the Dentist with another patient, but then she left knowing she had other patients?! This does not seem very professional. Everyone was very nice and the place is clean, modern albeit small. However, if I am there to see the dentist, I would like to see the dentist.

Instead of saying let's take it out and redo Dr. Chesler keeps an eye on it because she knows touching it again (unless there is a real reason like decay) undermines the strength of the tooth. She told me what to do to keep it maintained and inspects it when I come in for my cleanings. This really wowed me!
Her team is truly that and they make sure you are part of your overall oral health

My first appointment to Dr. Chesler's office was exceptional. Andrea explained all my insurance questions. They are not on my list of providers but I am happier with the personal individual attention at this office than at my previous dental office. Dr. Chesler explains everything in detail. The hygienist spends a full hour with me, not only does she clean my teeth but she gave me instructions on how to do a better job brushing. No one has ever showed me the proper way to floss! I had a great experience with this dental office and Dr. Chesler. If you are looking for an honest doctor with a great staff this is the place to go. Andrea at the front desk is very helpful, up front about costs and was patient with my schedule. My hygienist was extremely thorough and even kept up great conversation throughout my cleaning. As much as I would like to give Lisa, dental hygienist, 5 stars, I could give the dentist office 0 if possible. I cannot not begin to explain the billing issues I have had since Andrea has taken over the front desk. I feel Dr. Chesler did a great job transitioning the office from Dr. Greenburg, (previous owner), but might want to reassess the front desk. I am a very patient person but have pulled hair over trying to work with Andrea over the past couple of years! I am supportive of "someone might be having a bad day" and giving them a second chance, but Andrea was consistently rude

The service I received was the absolutely amazing! I was checked-in by friendly front desk staff and did not have to wait to be seen. The staff and Dr Tang Chesler were extremely helpful and simply made me feel at home.

Dr. Chesler is amazing. She is patient and kind to all of her patients. She did a work of art on my Son's molar. 3 other Dentists were ready to pull out his tooth and she not only saved the tooth, but you cannot even tell the tooth was ever worked on. I would highly recommend her to anyone of any age.

Who really wants to go to the dentist? But if you have to go, and that's me, you want Dr Chesler looking at your pearly whites. I never thought I would need so much work just to save my teeth, but Dr Chesler and her team were there for me thru all of it. About 17 years ago I had my top 10 teeth bonded when I lived on the east coast. I was so happy with my smile for at least a decade after that. But these past 5 years, my smile had suffered the staining (coffee, red wine...) of time and unfortunately had started to chip. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Chesler. She is hands down the BEST dentist I have ever been to, and I constantly recommend her to all my friends and family. Not only is she personable, she is intelligent and very talented!
