My family has gone to Sugarloaf Eyecare for 10 or so years. We have always had great service from the front desk to Dr. Christensen. Apparently some changes have been made recently that patients were not notified about. In trying to schedule an appointment online yesterday my husband discovered that there seems to be a new owner. There is no option to request what Doctor you want to see. There is not even a menu anywhere on the site about who works there. Is Dr. Christensen still there??? We tried calling several times yesterday and did not get a voicemail or actual answer. It just kept ringing

Great staff at sugarloaf with fantastic customer service focus. However I am very disappointed in the lens replacement on my TagHeuer frames. The lenses that were replace are not the same size or weight of the Zeiss lenses that were original. The glasses now do not fit as tight and fall off my head easily. Everything else was great!

I’ve gone to Sugarloaf Eye Care for 10+ years and have had nothing but positive experiences—loved all the doctors and up front staff. For whatever reason since they’ve been bought out by MyEyeDr. their customer service has gone waaaaay down. They practically never answer the phone and I’m still waiting for a call back from my voicemail saying I need to order contacts three days later. You’d think they’d want some business 🤔

If I can give no stars then I would. I came into the office maybe a minute after they closed However the door was still unlocked so I walked in just to pick up my contacts that I already paid for. Some rude lady let me know they were closed with her back turned to me definitely with a attitude. I asked her if she could just hand me my contacts so I can go - She let me know that she wouldn't do that with a attitude again. I’ve been going to Sugarloaf Eyecare for over ten years, they have always been fantastic. I actually moved two hours away and because of Dr.Christenson I’ve continued to use this company. That being said, the visit I had their week was very disappointing. As I was waiting to be seen a woman came up to me asking for my liscense and insurance card. I have never been asked for these before, and when I told her I’d have to go to my truck to get my liscense she acted very irritated with me. I received the worst experience that is supposed to be set in a professional environment. When I went in I was asked for my medical insurance and eye insurance card by the lady up front. Because of the type of plan that I have I do not have an insurance card and asked the lady why she needed to see my medical card if I'm here just for an eye exam. We went back and forth then she perceived to say in a low tone "just give me your insurance card" with an attitude. Finally, the man sitting next to her told her some insurance plans don't give out cards and he gave me the thumbs up that I was good to

Dr. Christensen gave me a thorough eye exam and reviewed my results meticulously, and explained things succinctly. Richard pointed me to a stylish selection of designer frames that I probably would not have given myself permission to enjoy. I am very satisfied with the bold, confident look of my new frames. This eye care boutique is worth it!

They've got a lot of awesome frames and the DRs and staff members were all super cool. With insurance, the cost of the appointment with glasses were about $60 for basic frames. Prices for frames range anywhere from $100 - $700. Blue tint for computer glare reduction on frames is about $80. They've got a nice selection of sunglasses, as well. Carry quite a bit of frames made in Italy. Just make sure to take a detailed statement of your insurance provider with to to provide staff with. My insurance stated I could get two pair of glasses (i.e. one regular pair and one pair of sunglasses), however

I just moved back to Georgia from a more rural area and was overwhelmed with the long list of eye care centers around me. Thankfully, I chose the perfect place on my first try!
Everyone I interacted with since getting there was very kind and friendly. Dr. Christensen was very easy to work with and informative when it came to answering my questions/concerns. There was just an overall positive energy in the office, and I would recommend them to anyone!
