Stephen Lipsky, M.D. has spent the past 28 years striving to provide the best care for his patients and their families. Dr. Lipsky graduated from Union College in Schenectady, NY at the top of his class majoring in Chemistry. He then graduated second in his medical school class from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine.
Orthoptists are allied health professionals recognized by the American Medical Association and work alongside ophthalmologists, primarily in pediatric or neuro-ophthalmology. Orthoptists function similarly to a physician's assistant or nurse practitioner but must receive highly specialized training focused on assessing eye movement and binocular vision disorders in children and adults.

Dr. Lipsky has been seeing my twins since birth and he is God sent. My twins were born at 24 weeks gestation and early on Dr. Lipsky diagnosed my daughter’s Cataract and removed it at birth. He is very knowledgeable and good at what he does to ensure that your kids have perfect vision. We appreciate him so much. I would definitely recommend him to others.

I moved from out of state. Want the best for my children and have found the best pediatric ophthalmologist. Office runs efficiently and doctor is knowledgeable. Everyone professional and helpful. I have been a nurse for 16 years and have high expectations. This practice exceeded those expectations. Will happily drive 30 minutes for my children to get care with this doctor.

My whole experience was positive! Parking was easy and we did not even have to wait which is huge when you have a 2 year old:) The entire staff was professional and friendly. Everything was explained in a manner in which I could understand and my son and I both felt completely comfortable. Would highly recommend this practice to anyone needing pediatric eye care.

We had a great visit with our 3 year old. Everyone was really nice. We didn't wait long which is a huge change from our previous experiences elsewhere. That's a big deal when you have a small child and you have already driven almost 2 hours. We really recommend them. Very impressed and glad we changed providers.

We had the best experience with Dr. Lipsky and his staff! Everyone was friendly and the office was clean and modern. Dr. Lipsky was very thorough and explained everything in detail to help my husband and I understand everything. We never felt rushed or overlooked like at other eye doctors we have been to. We will definitely be back to see him and would recommend him to any parent!
