Wed next to the the Swannanoa River, 5 minutes from Asheville, and follow with a reception amidst a stunning Blue Ridge Mountain backdrop on our 20+ acre farm. Indoor and outdoor sites. Vacation rental housing for 60+ guests on site are included for three nights in Saturday packages, option with others.
With 20 years of experience as a professor of Philosophy and Religion at the college level and 31 years of officiating couples' weddings, Jeanne understands what makes a ritual meaningful, beautiful, and effective. You will likely have your tour with Jeanne and, if you are interested and she's available, she'll get to know you well so she can officiate a one of a kind wedding ceremony, crafted just for you.
Hidden River Events expresses it sincere grief, disappointment, and anger over the continued marginalization of African Americans in our country along with other people of color. We remember George Floyd and his family along with the countless others-sadly too numerous to name-who in all too recent history have likewise suffered from the prejudice and systemic racism still rampant in our culture.
You can remove food, flowers, dessert, and/or photography. Typically, food is $16/person plus tax; dessert is $4/person plus tax; photographer is $1500; flowers range from $350-$1200 typically, depending upon the size of the event. With the food, if kept in the package, you have several choices of meals and within each choice, several choices as well.
Seven different ceremony sites, each with a different feel, to nurture and highlight your loving. When you drive into our farm, it is as if you have left a bit of civilization behind. You pass all sorts of homes on the roads leading to our farm, some churches, grocery stores, small businesses, a few gas stations.

My daughter's wedding was a few months ago at Hidden River. I would highly recommend it. We took the entire package, venue, flowers, dj, photographer and lodging. The contract was very clear and there were no surprises or hidden fees. We had great weather which made the whole day extra magical and extraordinary but I think it would have been great in the rain, the tent is large and sturdy. My daughter did most of the planning, I just made the payments, but the experience surpassed our expectations.

The perfect wedding spot... cousin's wedding not mine. Kinda magical. Friendly staff that I could tell. Tent would be great for 100 people. From a guest standpoint i would recommend.
14ish of us stayed in the big rental house overnight after. House was plenty big for 16+ people although its just the 2 bathrooms. Couch needs to be replaced but everything else was good condition that i saw.
The regular beds were fine but adults should not sleep on the cots... bring something else to sleep on. Seriously. I felt dumb in the morning and required tylenol. Also the couch pullout tries to tilt back into

I cannot express well enough in this review how amazing this wedding was! I'm biased because I know the stars of the event (whom are incredibly wonderful), but the event space, staff, and organization of the evening was perfect in every way! If you fancy a magical blue ridge mountain event, this is the place without a doubt or second thought! Bravo Hidden River! Bravo!

I recently got married at Hidden River Events, and it was an amazing experience. Our family and friends stayed on site in the vacation rentals, which were very well maintained and furnished. We had a beautiful rehearsal dinner on the deck of the Craggy House, as well as a well orchestrated wedding rehearsal the day before.
I can not say enough about the professional quality of the staff and the owner. It felt like every detail was prepared for and handled with care. I would recommend this to anyone in search of an outdoor wedding venue with all the amenities of a indoor space.

We got married at Hidden river events in late June 2021 on Friday with about 55 guests. We did not stay on the property. Everything was PERFECT. Jeanne told us when we toured Hidden river that their goal is to make you feel relaxed on your wedding day, my first thought was well that sounds perfect but how could this be true. I had already dabbled a little bit in wedding planning without the all inclusive package in my hometown and was stressed from day 1. Well I am here to tell you they lived up their promise! Ivy and Grace helped with most of our planning and then we had Ashley as day of coordinator

The Hidden River team is INCREDIBLE. They worked together smoothly and made everything feel easy. We had the case of r-a-i-n and they handled it so well as we had to pivot an hour before the ceremony. They didn't pressure me/us in any direction but was clearly taking all the right precautions and giving me a real understanding of what each decision would entail and the implications. Of course, the decision was challenging but ultimately was 100% the right one!

It almost feels impossible to sum up what an amazing experience it was to have our wedding at Hidden River. We had an intimate wedding (16 guests) on a Monday evening and it was PERFECT. The planning process from start to finish: Excellent communication, accommodating, easy. Every person I interacted with, whether staff of Hidden River or a hired vendor, was incredibly kind, talented, and delightful to work with. And of course, the beauty and peace of the location felt unmatched. I got the wedding of my dreams without 90% of the stress (I don't think you can take 100% of the stress out of any wedding

This was the first and only venue we visited. The views, options, accommodations, hospitality, professionalism, execution, etc. made it all more than worth it. Plus, having the ability to consolidate multiple vendors through a single source- HRE make it even more incredible. Their COVID precautions were the icing on the cake- pun intended. We could not be happier with our decision to get married at Hidden River, Jeanne and her team are amazing and we couldn't be more grateful to them for making our wedding day the best, most beautiful and special day of our lives. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
