Services
We are currently enrolling children ages six weeks to kindergarten. You can pre-register by filling our our online registration form. Upon receiving the form, we will contact you to confirm your enrollment and to set up an appointment. Tuition payments can be made weekly, monthly or bimonthly. However, payments must be made on the first day of the week or month.
6:30 am-8:15 am: Children will settle into small groups as they gradually arrive. Once larger numbers of children arrive, they will be dispersed into smaller groups according to age. During this early morning time activities such as coloring, reading books, puzzles and manipulatives will be provided, as well as serving children breakfast brought from home.
We've tailored our programs and curriculum to meet the ever-changing needs of a young mind and body. Explore the sections below to learn more about the daily activities of each age group. We've designed a special room to encourage free-movement and learning to walk. This "crawler room" separates these active little ones away from the infants and babies, so they can be free to roam around and experience all new things.
We're pleased to offer a full-day, all-encompassing kindergarten program unique to other options in downtown Cedar Rapids. Our program is limited to 15 students per classroom, providing an ideal setting for more one-on-one interaction. The Cedar Rapids Day School kindergarten program works closely with our highly-regarded kindergarten at Hiawatha Day School, which serves 30 families annually between two classrooms.
We're currently looking for part-time and full-time staff members to care for infants through pre-k children.
