The non-profit organization, Mondovi Housing Authority, owns and manages the Highland Apartments to provide a safe and affordable home for elderly, disabled, and other independent living residents. Prospective residents must apply and income-qualify. Rent is based upon a percentage of income, and not assets, after medical expenses.
The rent includes heat, electricity, water/sewer, and garbage service. Common building with free laundry facilities and a meeting room with tables, chairs, and kitchenette for use by resident. All interested tenants must apply. There is nearly always a waiting list for apartments (you must apply to be added to the waiting list).
