The main goal of any eyewear is to correct vision and protect the eye. However, at Modern Eye Care, we know that choosing eyewear that looks good, feels good and suits your lifestyle is equally important to you. At Modern Eye Care your eye doctor will discuss several options with you, and evaluate and measure additional elements of the eye prior to recommending and prescribing a specific type of contact lenses.

With so many options out there, it's no surprise that shopping for sunglasses can lead to confusion - and even frustration. At Modern Eye Care we help you choose your best option in sunglasses. You'll find that we match your frame with the latest in ophthalmic lenses to complete the perfect "look" for you.
Services
Modern Eye Care caters to the individual needs of each patient with well trained staff members who provide personalized attention. We do much more than just check your vision and provide you with eyeglasses. We provide comprehensive eye care and full treatment and management of eye conditions in order to ensure internal and external eye health and correct vision.
Vision correction through Lasik eye surgery is now considered be a safe alternative to corrective lenses or contacts. At Modern Eye Care, we receive inquiries nearly every day from patients requesting more information and education on surgical options. The optometrists at Modern Eye Care are happy to provide you with more information on the Lasik procedure, as well as other options available.
Part of the mission at Modern Eye Care is to provide our patients with the most advanced technology available in the eye care industry. As new technologies arise, we seek to reinvest in these breakthroughs in an effort to provide our patients the highest quality level of care and service they deserve.
The freedom of contact lens wear fits today's busy lifestyle. Contacts can correct a range of vision problems including presbyopia and astigmatism and eye disorders such as dry eye and keratoconus. Transitions contact lenses and daily contact lenses are just a few of the innovations. Please keep in mind that contact lens prescriptions must be current to be refilled.
Dry eye is a condition in which a person doesn't have enough quality tears to lubricate and nourish the eye. Tears are necessary for maintaining the health of the front surface of the eye and for providing clear vision. Dry eye is a common and often chronic problem, particularly in older adults. With each blink of the eyelids, tears spread across the front surface of the eye, known as the cornea.

Took my 5 yr old daughter and husband for an exam. The doctor was very nice however, I think all they care about is your money. I called to get her pupillary diameter and they told me I could not get that information unless I purchased glasses from them. $350 for a 5 yr old to break in less than a week. No way!! I’ve called around to other eye… doctors and they ALL have told me they give their patients that information to fit their needs should they need to get glasses elsewhere. $140 wasted in an exam for them both and now my daughter or husband still won’t have the proper glasses

Made a 9 am appt and was told that they open at 9 so I did not need to arrive early. Nice! I walk up at 8:59 and the door was locked. Ok. At 9:01 I see several people near the front desk with their backs to me so I knock. They turn to look at me and then turn back around. I stand outside (in 39 degree weather) for several minutes in disbelief. If… this was my business and I see someone standing outside ONE minute before we open, I let them in. If we're finishing a meeting, I'd tell them. People understand. I wouldn't just leave them literally out in the cold. I turn to leave and see the

Dr Reese called me personally today 8/19/2016, very impressive, right? He called to argue with me about my eye insurance. I have had the same insurance for over 8 years and never paid more than $10.00 for a well eye exam which was for the contact fitting. Dr. Reese's charges out of pocket after exhausting my 100% coverage of a well eye exam and $60.00 contact fitting a whopping $179.00 out of pocket expense to the patient.
I am a contact wearer for 35 years. I have my yearly exam annually, with what all offices call a contact fitting. In the past, test are conducted, I walk out with eye glasses
