Properly diagnosing the type of dry eye disease is an important first step. A questionnaire is often used to determine the degree of symptoms. We take measurements to check to see if you have an aqueous deficient dry eye, lipid deficient dry eye, and/or incomplete eyelid blink. Lipiflow is the gold standard in treating Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD).
Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Cataracts, Diabetic Retinopathy, and many more are all common ocular diseases that the team at Lake Mary Eye Care treats and manages on a daily basis. Crizal Lenses are an anti-reflective glass treatment for traditional eyeglasses and high-quality eyeglass lenses.
We offer a 90 Day Guaranteed Contact Lens Success Program. If determined to be a good candidate for contact lenses, we will fit you on the same day with a soft contact lens. Once the lenses are fit and vision is good, we will provide sample contact lenses, sample contact lens solution if necessary (daily disposable contact lenses do not require contact lens solution) and anything else necessary to get started.

Worst experience ever, first when I booked my appointment as new patient they told me they they BCBS medical . So I send my kid for his appointment and they told my husband that they can not see him for his yearly annual eye exam because will be need it a pre existing eye condition to treat it as medical something I was never told in advance .
So I when I called them they said sorry and that s it . Waist of time and worst customer service from the beginning to the end. End up canceling all my 4 appointments with this place. Their receptionists staff are lacking of professionalism they should better

This office has a billing problem which appears to be by design. They will not tell you if your insurance is covered until you arrive, then upsell every service. Then orchestrate the appointment to bring you back and find creative ways to bill you and your insurance excessively. In each instance where someone promised a callback or follow-up on a billing question, they ghost the request. Some staff is friendly, and some are curt. I cannot recommend this office and would encourage anyone looking forward to a quality office to keep looking.

My husband and I recently had cataract surgery by Dr Filutowsky. I would highly recommend him to anyone getting this surgery. The girl that helped us, Marylee was Very knowledgeable. I felt confidant that she knew the answers to all my questions. They are very Thorough in everything they do. We got into all our pre op appointments quickly and post ops as well. Thank you to everyone at Dr Filutowsky eye institute.

**Update: the doctor saw my Google review, and, instead of addressing some of my concerns, they dropped me as a patient saying it's "not the right fit" and cancelled my glasses order. Upon calling I asked, "so just to be clear, you're dropping me as a patient rather than addressing my sanitation concerns?" And they said "correct."

Dr. Love is fantastic and his entire practice is consistently friendly and helpful. They're not only experts in eye care, but they also know more about my insurance and how to make it worst best for me than I ever will. As a patient/customer for the last several years, I'm very happy with the care, service and product selection they offer.

The first visit was very good, and everyone was nice. But after receiving my eyewear, I had to return to tweak some of the settings. This is when they became very rude, wouldn't listen or explain basic concepts, and carried on conversations between themselves belittling any evidence or help that I may have been trying to provide. The negative attitude toward returnees seemed to permeate the entire office. In the end I didn't get what I needed, and it was a waste of time and money.

What a horrible example of humanity. My 13 year old son with ASD went in to office today for a recheck on an incorrect scrip written earlier this year. Of course the Dr had a god complex and can't be questioned about a possible error. Blamed the optical department at Walmart. Son became irritated when Dr took glasses from him without asking if he may. Son said something to Dr and Dr actually kicked wife and son out of practice. THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS. You're a pure fool if you take any child in there.

We've been patients for the past 4 years. Dr. Love is excellent and we've always loves our glasses / service. However, the administrative office staff and billing is absolutely horrific. We use our flexible spending account to cover products and services and carve out at least 3 or 4 hours per appointment. So it isn't a place you'll want to go if you're on a budget or in a time crunch.

Very impressed with the professionalism of this office. I have high expectations when it comes to medical care and I was not disappointed. Dr Love was very thorough during my exam and I didn't feel rushed or anything during the appointment. The assistants throughout the office were very knowledgable as well and courteous. Not too sure where the negative reviews came from but maybe things have changed since 2014. I would definitely recommend this office.

The doctor is a quack. I told him I've been going to the eye doctor for over half my life, and he was explaining things to me like I was a child. When I would speak he would look at me like I was so rude for talking, and would ignore me and keep saying whatever nonsense he was saying. He talks like he's stoned out of his mind. Do not go!!!! AWFUL!!!!!
