Services
Dr. Patterson Shedd grew up in Mobile, AL and graduated from St. Paul's Episcopal School in 1999. After receiving a B.S. in Biological Psychology from Birmingham-Southern College in 2003, Dr. Shedd attended the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Dentistry where he received his D.M.D. in 2008.
Preventive care includes routine cleanings designed to keep mouths healthy and identify at their earlier stages any signs of potential problems. It also includes maintenance of the more demanding cases with advanced periodontal care, oral hygiene instructions, radiographs, sealants and preventive resins.
Our dental services are designed for the entire family and that is why we are proud to offer children's dentistry services! We have significant experience as a children's dentist and we strive to make all children feel comfortable in our office. And of course, we make sure that they have fun at the same time!
Call our office today if you are experiencing a severe toothache. We offer SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS whenever possible! We will bring you in for a focused examination of the impacted tooth or area of your mouth, that will include an x-ray of the area and a thorough doctor examination. After the exam our doctors will give you a treatment plan on how to fix the problem.

Dr. Shedd and his staff are the best. I have a high anxiety level when it comes to dental work. But here they do everything in there power to ease that and take the time to care. In the short time I have been going, I have had a lot of work done. It has gone smoothly and as we continue my treatment plan I know I am in good hands!

The staff was so nice and extremely helpful!!! As a person of little means and no insurance it meant a lot to me to go in an establishment like this and be treated like a person who was deserving of their time and efforts. From the reception desk to the Dr himself they were all kind and thoughtful of my situation. They helped me find a way to pay and programs that I could qualify for. Thank you all for your help!!!!

I love the kindness and the atmosphere of this place. After a brief hiatus due to Covid, it was nice to return. His staff is amazing! Dr. Shedd eased my mind and answered some very important questions regarding my health. He also offered a game plan to help keep my teeth healthy and strong while battling my issues. The most friendly and professional dentistry I've experienced. Staff is sincere, friendly and knowledgeable from the front desk to all things patient care related. This is a comfortable environment, with no unusual billing practices, unnecessary procedures and no turnover. As much as I dislike dental work, I pay out-of-pocket for additional preventative cleanings every few months. I value Dr. Shedd and this team!
