Whittemore's Real Estate was founded in 1969 by Alton Whittemore. Alton was known for his integrity and outstanding business philosophy that he brought to the real estate market. In 1975, Van Ames started working for Alton and in 1977 he purchased the business.
Christopher Perkins became joint owner in 1990 and together, along with their agents, they are offering the same great service to their customers that Whittemore's Real Estate has always been known for.

Scam artists and abusers. Chad and home seller came into the nursing/recovery home while my grandfather was taking serious pain medications right after a life-saving surgery and badgered him into buying a run-down house. The seller and him disguised serious problems, and outright LIED about other serious issues that resulted in an additional 10k in work just to have the place livable and safe. Chad also somehow ‘lost’ the photos my grandfather gave him of an older property he had given him to value it. This agency is involved in fraud, elder abuse, theft, and misrepresentation.
