New Hope For The Brain
Neurofeedback is the process of restoring brain health by retraining the brain's electrical activity to match healthy brain wave patterns. Neurofeeback can provide permanent relief from many cognitive, emotional, personality and mood dysfunctions. Neurofeedback is safe and results can be measured. Injuries to the brain not only disrupt the life of the person experiencing them, they have a devastating impact on the family and loved ones.

Once immediate medical problems are dealt with, longer-term issues must be faced. In this process the life of everyone involved is affected. Dr. Penny Montgomery and Dr. Glenda Lippmann are co-owners of New Hope for the Brain. They have provided brain wave information for a variety of purposes, such as verifying diagnoses, assessing stress and determining healthy brain functioning.

New Hope For The Brain has a strong interest in promoting brain health as an essential component of the health curriculum at all levels of education. The face of neurology has changed dramatically. It is now known that we get new brain cells every day and that those new cells enable our brains to heal as never before thought possible.

Millions of people suffer from the effects of dysfunctional breathing without even realizing it. Estimates suggest that 10 to 25 percent of the U.S. population may be suffering some of the effects of learned dysfunctional breathing. The most common dysfunctional breathing habit is overbreathing. Overbreathing is breathing that results in a carbon dioxide deficit.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a well-recognized childhood developmental problem. This condition is characterized by inattention, hyperactivity and impulsiveness. It is now known that these symptoms continue into adulthood for about 60% of children with ADHD. That translates into 4% of the U.S. adult population, or 8 million adults.

So glad we were able to visit Dr. Penny Montgomery and Dr. Glenda Lippmann recently after having experienced trauma to the brain a few years ago. After having told our doctors about pain we have been experiencing for years (and being told that was our "new normal" or being ignored) we finally got answers with Dr. Penny. We were able to SEE the issues in our scans and they were addressed in our sessions. We began to feel progress in many of the areas of issue, and know that there is more progress to come. We are completely fascinated with the work Dr. Penny did as she explained what she was doing

Dr. Penny & Dr. Glenda are wonderful people and have helped me very much. They not only have all the right and current equipment, they have the years of clinical experience to apply it correctly. Dr. Penny does not rely on the equipment to give a diagnosis, but rather, she actually interprets the data herself to make sure that nothing gets missed. She was able to find things that others have missed. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

I went to New Hope because my ability to focus and be productive was dissipating. I was actually scared to be truthful. I felt like I was slipping, and though I'm 57, that's too early to lose my sharpness. I learned a lot about my brain during the process of working with Dr. Penny, including that I had latent effects of a trauma from years ago. During the course of my treatment, there were a couple of times when my brain didn't respond to the technique/equipment she was using, but then, because she's has different sets of equipment for different purposes, she was able to change the approach so

I'll share a few things:
1) I went to an open house at New Hope for the Brain with my mother who suffers from epilepsy and issues with memory that began after her first grand mal seizure. The presentation spoke to treatments for a multitude of issues including cognitive deficits, mood disorders and epilepsy. I have personally suffered from anxiety spectrum/depersonalization issues for years. Naturally, I was interested in their services and I sought treatment for my issues. I received their EEG brain scan and it was reported to me that I had major brain-wave abnormalities. Neurofeedback was then
