I'm a senior disabled from a stroke. Hidenwood Pharmacy has been delivering all my medications for over four years. They are so pleasant and helpful on the phone and since they offer more than medications they'll send you what you need, from cards to cashews. The pharmacist is always available to answer any questions or concerns I may have. Their professionalism is outstanding and delivered by a community member, not a chain store. Having tried various locations. decided to give the independent a chance. Wished that I had come here first. The people are just so nice and friendly. I waddle in , tell them what I need and the medicine is ready in 5 to 10 minutes..

Without a doubt, this is the best pharmacy anywhere! The pharmacists are knowledgeable and efficient, and the employees are friendly and very helpful! Anne Hutchens, RPh, personifies what a family pharmacist (and pharmacy) should be! She and her staff know most of her patrons by name! It is SO nice to walk in among friends!

This area of Newport News is fortunate to have Hidenwood Pharmacy as a neighborhood pharmacy that is an integrated member of the health care team directly involved in patient care. You will receive personal care from the entire staff here. This is not your big box on the corner of major intersections pharmacy. If they sold malted milkshakes I would be there every day.
