I hate this place they are very rude and slow workers they will accuse you of stealing pills and refused to send your client more I had a client that was with this Pharmacy and they were very rude and very late with all his prescriptions I hate this place

Wonderful staff in all departments. When I call and eant to talk to a pharmscist, thry are not botheredby yaking calls...and thesevpeople work HARD.They work hard csuse they arebusy all thhe time,but they alesys help me.On phone or in person

In this day and time it is extremely rare to get good service and good food. Extremely rare and usually you don't get either. However at Irwin's Pharmacy they still believe in great food and great customer service that will make you want to return. This is truly rare. Kudos to the leadership and the cooks because you are a rarity in this world.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever known. All the employee and pharmacist are extremely rude. They made a mistake with my prescription and act like it's my fault. I will never deal with this pharmacy again and if you want you prescriptions done right dont go here. They wait until the owner is gone for the day to be very hostile. WORST PHARMACY EVER‼

The red head behind the counter is one of the nicest girls ever. She’s absolutely amazing and my favorite.

Friendly people who pay attention to the customer and to detail. I have also found them to fill your prescription faster than any other Pharmacy I've been to. I have used Irwin's for years and have never had a problem. All the people here treat you more like a neighbor and less like just the average customer as some other pharmacies do.
I will always be a return customer.

I have been using Irwin's off and on for more than 10 years. The people have always been amazing. Joe is fabulous and Anthony always makes me laugh. I am finally transferring all my scripts to them. Hunter spent ten minutes on the phone explaining my meds, without any prejudice because of what I take. Also that's a long time to take out of his busy schedule. I am so tired of being treated like something I am not at my other pharmacy. I am done with big chain stores. Also at Irwin's they will deliver and that's a huge plus for people who can't drive They also have a grill that serves some great

Went there to have my son's throat swabbed for a quick strep culture. Very polite. It's neat to find a pharmacy with old style candy and old games. Love the counter for Facebook likes! Thanks for helping us out today!

One of the last non corporate pharmacies and you can tell the second you walk in the front or side door. The staff know the customer and will go the extra mile(s) to help. They care about the community and they are the gold standard of what quality service should be.

This store is very cool and unique! Everyone is friendly. Meds are filled quickly. The grill is always busy. Old 50s music plays constantly, giving the store a very happy and friendly atmosphere. They carry old school candy too. It’s like stepping back in time!

Such a disappointment.... flashing sign on street says "we have hand sanitizer". I ran in and they wanted $14.99 for a dollar tree regular bottle of sanitizer. Pure price gouging! So very disappointed you've been here all these years and taking advantrage if our community! Shameful!

I took two of my boys here to eat on a whim. Found Irwin's on Yelp and thought let's go here! So glad we did. The food was tasty, it didn't break my wallet and the service was great. Everyone was so friendly. There was plenty of food on our plates, plus it was delicious. Another added bonus they have the perfect ice for your sodas . My kids have been begging to go back.

I love to explore the area that I live in and Irwin's Pharmacy & Fountain was one of those explorations. Although not far off the beaten path of I64 it's a section of Chesapeake I have never traipsed through. To be honest if there is reason other than this throwback pharmacy from the 1950's I wouldn't know what it is. The original Irwin's in Portsmouth dates to the 30's and since closed. Keep in mind the business remains a full service pharmacy.

The location of Irwin's Pharmacy is a bit, well blah and in a hap hazard development of newer and old businesses

Amazing breakfast. Food is cooked perfect and is fresh. I love the old timey soda shop feel. Highly recommend this place!

Hands down the best breakfast in this area!!!! We have family that lives in Pittsburgh and as a family we like to eat, but we don't like chain restaurants so we would always go find little dinners and that's where the best food is.

This place is a little gem. Neighborhood looks a little rough but don't let that fool you. I stopped by for breakfast and the food and service were fantastic. Try the breakfast club, it's worth it. You can't beat the prices. Have fun playing games and puzzles while you wait or check out the fun unique items and candies sold on the pharmacy side. Will be going back very soon.

I have been a customer for less than a year and Irwins was so kind to mail my prescription across the country. They have been so kind and considerate each time I speak with them on the phone as well as in the store, even when they have a line out the door. Thank you so very much.

Great compounding pharmacy, family owned, with a delightful old fashioned soda fountain/grill. Turns out they will deliver prescriptions for FREE anywhere in Hampton Roads! I'm disabled and find it difficult to walk. So they will get my prescription from me by meeting me at my car, or will pick it up from my house. Again, for no charge!

I love this place and will support them as long as I live in Hampton Roads.

Excellent customer service. If you choose to wait for your meds, they will give you a "Free", you reas this right, a "Free," yep, "Free" cup of coffee, or "Free," yep, "Free" cup of any soda, or, pop, or soda pop - however the hell you say it, or your preferred way - while you are waiting. They have a cool mini restaurant that serves burger, dogs, all types of soups and other foods. All made there. Some are better than others. They do need a little better quality control, but not bad considering.

One recommendation for Irwins: please buy the restaurant

Took my son here and waited for a notary. As we waited decided to sit and try a late lunch. My son is 5 and walked to the last booth. The waitress blocked the aisle and he said excuse me 3 x she turned looked at him and then proceeded to not move. Strike one. We sit. She sees us sit. We look over the menu for about 10 minutes. My son asking me why they don't come take our order. This is a small diner. 5 booths. I go to the young lady and tell her we'd like to order.
No apology just a "I didn't think you were eating but just getting notary stuff". I politely explain that

I found this to be the ideal neighborhood pharmacy. They are friendly helpful pleasant and quick in helping me get what I needed. Their focus is on the customer more than your overcrowded chain pharmacies whose primary goal is to score well for corporate regardless of the wellbeing of the customer. Good word of mouth advertising is far better than the amount of money your chain stores flyers and expensive commercials. This store has the right idea. They have focused on ideal conservative inventory you expect to see at a drug store. They're a friendly family store with a genuine concern for
