After your first examination with X-rays, we will be happy to discuss your options. Dr Chang and his team are amazing. We are so happy we decided to put our family's teeth in his care. He has been open and honest from the start. Always giving me options and opinions on various treatments. Myself, my husband and two of our kids are currently under his care and we couldn't be happier. Our family has had a wonderful experience at Chang Orthodontics. Dr. Chang connected with the kids right away. He keeps us, parents, up to date on the process and answers all of our questions. His team is incredibly efficient. The office always runs on time and Sam is very helpful with scheduling appointments around our busy schedule. In addition, Dr. Chang has gone above and beyond helping both boys when they've broken things after hours. We really can't recommend Chang Orthodontics enough.

I had a great experience with Dr Chang and his team. I got Invisalign treatment here, and recently completed my final followup visit, where Dr Chang showed me the "before and after" photos of my teeth. What a difference! I'm so glad I got treatment here. And my only regret was not starting treatment earlier in life. Dr Chang is an expert in his field. I had my kid's braces done by Dr. Chang some years back and it is ok but the communication was not optimal. He made decisions, how wide the front section of the teeth should be, without explaining and consulting with me. Later I found out the shape wasn't right and I asked him and he just said "oh, that's most people would like". He adjusted afterward with my insistence.
A few years ago I came back to him for my own ortho adjust need and he really did NOT give good approach at all. Asking me to pull a front tooth in order to make things work. I accepted but hesitated

I came to Dr Chang to request a second opinion. I really resonated with his methodical approach. Most of all I appreciate his clear and honest assessment about what is achievable with respect to what my goals are. It was a very informative appointment and I left feeling that I have a much clearer understanding so that I can make the right decision for me. I would absolutely come back.

Dr. Chang has been my chosen orthodontist since I graduated college and began working as a professional. He is an amazingly empathetic professional and runs a very welcoming and high quality operation. From a service need perspective, they helped me when my “permanent” bottom retainer broke and have also fitted me with a night guard retainer to help me with my brutal teeth grinding. If you’re looking for an ortho in the San Carlos/Belmont area, I highly recommend Chang Orthodontics.

I switched to Chang Orthodontics from a previous orthodontist early into my having braces, and they made the transition very smooth. I looked around at different orthodontists before choosing them, and I found the price Chang Orthodontics to be by far the best deal. I want to whole-heartedly recommend Chang Orthodontics. Dr. Chang takes the time to explain all treatment options in detail, including pros and cons. He has an eye for what will be esthetic but also keeps in mind what is needed for good oral health. My 12 year old daughter started Invisalign in the fall and her results have been great so far. My boys had their impressions taken 2 days ago and will be staring in a couple of weeks. Yay!

I needed new attachments for my Invisalign I got in a different state, and Michael agreed to pick up my case and set them up for me. They were in a difficult area and hard to place, but it's been a week and they are holding out fine. Could not recommend him more.

My 12 year old daughter has not been inside anywhere but our house for the last 8-9 weeks! I took my daughter to see Dr. Chang today and was really impressed by the precautions they have taken to keep everyone safe! This is what they did:
1. I received a text with a questionnaire the day before her appointment, asking general questions related to COVID-19 symptoms and contact.
2. When we got there today, Kayla was out by the parking lot to greet us with a smile (under her face mask) and to take our temperature.
3. I called the office to let them know we were downstairs and already checked in

Dr Chang and his team are A plus. I went in for Invisalign to fix my smile and bite. Everyone who worked on my teeth were pros, from Dr Chang to his staff. I had some old orthodontic gear in my mouth that needed to be removed before Invisalign treatment could begin. I was really anxious but Dr Chang answered every question I had patiently and thoroughly, which quickly put me at ease. I wrapped up my treatment on time - and even a bit earlier than scheduled! Their office is clean; they are super accommodating with appointments; and I'm always greeted with a smile. Definitely recommend Chang

The office is organized, easy to set up appointments, and they are always available to answer questions. My 15 year old son has been his patient for about a year and what a difference a year makes, the braces are so affective.

My husband and I got Invisalign through Dr. Chang. Not only is he on top of his stuff, he is funny and very personable. His staff is also extremely top notch. Even when I moved out of the area, he was still very helpful in getting me replacement retainers. Last but not least, he is not only my orthodontist, he is also a friend. Miss you guys!

So I ended up at Dr. Changs office only after looking at about three other orthodontists. I chose to go with him because not only did I feel the most comfortable with him but his treatment made the most sense and also his fees were the most fair. Now that my treatment is done I couldn't be happier with the results. Save yourself some time. Don't bother with other orthodontists. He has super friendly and patient staff who are always extraordinarily accommodating to your schedule.
Another plus is that his office is super high tech, spacious and modern and doesn't have that old 80s office smell.

My son needed braces. Our regular terrific dentist, Dr. Peter Chiu, highly recommended Dr. Michael Chang and, along with reading the great reviews on Yelp, we went in for a consultation. My son liked him right away (so did I) and told me that he wanted to get his braces done at his office. During the consultation, Dr. Chang went over all of the options along with the financing. Pricing is more than fair. =) Of course, I needed to do my due diligence and check other orthodontists. After all, this is my kid and I wanted the best.

If you need ortho work done, you need to come here asap. Dr. Chang and his team are super amazing and super nice. No pressure to do things and Dr. Chang always gives you options so have no fear! Plus him and his team are so easy to talk to that you forget you're there for some tune ups to make your smile look it's absolute best.

I had terrible jaw pain and I could barely open my mouth. They were able to squeeze in a last minute appt and get me molded for a mouth guard thingie (he even had flavored plaster) Dr. Chang explained why I was feeling pain and how the mouth/bite guard thingie would help. The staff were also very friendly! It was awesome.

Thank you Dr. Chang! Since I have gotten my braces off I have had tons of compliments on my smile! Dr. Chang closed the gaps in my smile and aligned my lower jaw (I was grinding my teeth). Very pleasant experience here, honestly really attentive staff and a clean lobby. I don't ask for much but when it's over delivered I'm happy. I was only here for a basic cleaning, so I don't know the extent of the other services. In the basic cleaning though I was really well taken care of and felt very relaxed. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Chang is the only person I can trust to work on my teeth, I'm kind of crazy about who works on my teeth when I go to the dentist but I finally found someone that I'm comfortable with. Dr. Chang is the best orthodontist I've ever visited, his staff and himself are super kind. You don't get that weird feeling that you get when walking into other dentist offices when you come to Dr. Chang. I've been a client for a while now and I'm glad I finally found a good orthodontist. So impressed with Dr. Chang and his staff. We've been his patient since 2009. He's very good with the kids and knows exactly what they need to help improve their teeth. My three kids have used him. One finished his braces about two years ago and two more are in braces now. He's very gentle, kind, professional, and knowledgeable. We've been very pleased and have recommended him to several friends, who use him now. Go to Dr. Chang if you need an orthodontist.
