Dr. Ho Young Cho was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. After attending Colgate University for his undergraduate degree, he went on to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree. During his fourth year in optometry school, Dr. Cho interned at practices in Beverly Hills and La Jolla.

I had my eye exam in October 2021. The doctors and staff were very professional and friendly. I got a call a few days later telling me one of my glasses frames was on backorder and wouldn't be in until December. I was given a loaner pair in a different color until mine arrived. Who does that! I called occasionally to get updates. My last call I spoke with Rashid Payne the office manager. He orders all the frames and moved mountains over the next few weeks to get my frames. I highly recommend this practice to everyone. They follow all covid protocols to keep everyone safe. Thanks for

I had left an awesome review for them before but after dealing with them about getting color contacts I won’t be returning . My contact prescription is still good until September 2021 I was interested in color contacts and was given color trials along with prices and was told I can purchase them with them. I decided to get them online and once i said that they refused to validate my prescription and I would need new prescription and would need to pay for it . I spoke to receptionist few times and male optometrist that works there . I feel like they where only doing that because I decided to to

My daughter referred me here. Dr Ho is amazing. He put me in a new contact brand and a plan of care that eliminates all the eye infections I would run into while seeing a different optometrist. The atmosphere and customer care here is excellent. The office is conveniently located and everyone is upbeat, happy and knows their role in care experience. Man, I wish I had found this optometry office years ago. They take care of you by providing unmatched optical care.

Hip optics is so thorough and careful. I switched from Costco to Hip optics because of the friendliness but the most important benefit of going here is a better eye exam. The Dr. will notice more detail about your eyes and will take time to make sure your RX is accurate. Costco had actually been overprescribing my glasses RX. I was also able to wear contacts from hip optics when I haven't worn them for years because they were measured and prescribed correctly.

I am giving this place 5 stars because they were able to help me when a previous eye doctor could not. I went to a different doctor for my vision exam and expressed I wanted contacts being I never wore them before someone would have to train me only she was in once a week which did not with with my with schedule. So I face Hip Optics a call to see if they had any availability and they did. I walked in with my prescription and they were able to assist me with my sunglasses frames, glasses and contacts. I'm satisfied and happy that I can now see with the contacts given while I wait for my glasses

First of all I was referred by a good old friend of mine! Yadi said to come check her out & she would take care of me! She set up an appointment as soon as the following week, since I was in need of getting my glasses soon!
Their service was excellent from the moment I walked into the office! I had little to no wait for my turn! The Dr. was super helpful with any questions I had! This place is a total rip off. Watch out for the surprise $100 eye exam fee....i'v been going to this place for 3 years....Their explanation for the hundred dollars is because they use a special camera to check your eyes ..... it's the same camera every other optometrist uses.....But they won't tell you about that up front they tell you that when you're checking out..... the frames prices are outrageous they totally mark up the prices....do yourself a favor and look elsewhere....this business has no problem over charging you.... I wish I didn't have to give them a star

I am still giving this a one star review. I contacted the office directly twice explaining what had happened and how we had been treated. I asked that a message be related to Dr. Cho and that he contact me if he cared to know how his staff treated us. I still haven't had a call... The reply was just for the sake of his YELP rating.
First - educate your staff not to talk about patients where everyone can hear you. It's a HIPPA violation.
Second - understand that for IEHP patients price will be the primary factor in selecting glasses. There is no point in allowing my child to select

Hip Optics always provides exceptional customer service. I feel comfortable and welcome at every single appointment. The doctor found a small imperfection in my eye which no other doctor was able to recognize. It helped me to determine the weaknesses in my peripheral vision. The employees helped me choose a pair of frames that fit my face and were patient with me while I was learning use contacts. They even replaced a defective pair of contacts with no questions asked. They keep me educated and informed before i make any decisions regarding my eyes. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

Horrible customer service and work. Do not take your glasses in there. Do not buy your glasses from there. H O staff is not knowledgeable enough to offer anything but 3rd rate/ last resort service; that is being kind.
I took my glasses in to do a simple tightening and they broke my Oliver Peoples with progressive, all the bells and whistles etc. and I'm legally blind.
They handed my glasses back to me in two pieces. And, said "whoops, sorry".
I have been unable to read etc since.
They offered to do nothing. Absolutely no accountability. I called back later after professional
