Dr. Hough uses a variety of bracket systems, choosing the ideal system and wires for each individual patient based on their individual needs. This includes self-ligating brackets, which uses doors rather than ties to hold the wire into place.
Once you are out of braces, showing off your beautiful straight smile, it is important to remember that your teeth will move back to their prior position without proper retainer wear. We will fit you with an individualized retainer because your teeth will not stay straight if you do not wear your retainers as instructed.

Dr. Hough has taken clear aligners to a new standard by cutting out the middle man. The office has its own 3D printer, so the entire clear aligner process now happens within the office, not an off-site lab.
TMJ/TMD is a condition that effects the way the jaw and muscles work together in harmony. TMJ stands for temporomandibular joint; it acts as a hinge, connecting your jaw to your temporal bones of your skull, located in front of each ear. This joint allows you to move your jaw up and down and side to side so you can talk, chew and yawn.

We love Hough Orthodontics. The staff is wonderful and is always friendly and helpful. Dr Hough is great with the kids and always answers all of our questions with great detail. We never feel rushed. Scheduling appointments is always easy and emergency visits are never a problem. The virtual appointment during quarantine was also efficient, informative, and user friendly.
