We have been in business since 1995 and we pride ourselves on offering quality dental services at a very affordable price. Being a local dental provider we have focused on being a family oriented dental practice. Now that people are keeping their teeth much later in life, it is crucial that we do everything in our power to ensure the best treatment is rendered.
If you are missing a permanent tooth or need one extracted, ask Dr. Slyby if a tooth implant can be an option for you. We have converted to the latest digital radiography equipment. With digital radiography, there is a fifty percent (50%) lower dosage than conventional speed film. We now offer Care Credit.

Fort Wayne Dentistry is constantly investing in its practice. This year we completely renovated the exterior of our building as well as our reception room. We strive to educate our patients about their needs as well as dental procedures. We let the patient know why we are doing a specific procedure and teach them about that procedure.
We are constantly updating our equipment to offer you the latest in technology. We are also constantly participating in continuing education programs to be assured we are offering the best and most affordable treatment available. Our practice has added a new and better alternative in anesthetic injections.
David's interest in dentistry grew into a lifelong commitment while working in his family's practice during summer vacations. His father, Roland Slyby, one of the areas most respected dentists, along with his hygienist mother Connie were excellent role models for David. After graduating from Snider High School, he went on to major in chemistry and minor in psychology at Indiana University.

I went to Dr. Slyby for the first time many years ago after having a bad experience with another DDS. I was nervous and scared! He and his staff picked up on that right away! They made me feel like I had been there for years - like part of the family! No shame EVER!
I have had emergency's on weekends and evenings and he always calls back and is willing to meet you after hours if need be!
The office is warm, inviting, and homey! He and his staff are always in a good mood and by the time you leave, you are too!
The office runs like a well oiled machine! They are always running on time - I have

Dr. Slyby is top notch. I've been a patient of his for many years and his father before that. Up to date equipment and very knowledgeable with excellent communication. I've had numerous things done from fillings to crowns, etc. He cares about his patients like family. Highly recommend. Also very good with my children! He explains age appropriately and puts them at ease.

We were new to the area and my son had an adult tooth coming in and was causing him so much pain because the baby tooth would not budge, of course this was on a Friday morning and no dentist could get him in. I call Dr. Slyby’s office and they were so kind and worked him in that morning! Now 4 years later our whole family sees Dr. Slyby and we love him and the office! He is honest, kind and caring! Highly recommend this practice!!!

About 6 years ago I was getting a cavity filled by Dr. Slyby when I hear him say "uh oh" which is never good. Turns out he exposed a nerve but kept telling me it wasn't a big deal. Well then my tooth was very sensitive to cold and he kept saying that it would go away on it's own which it never fully did. Now all these years later I have intense pain in that tooth and will need a root canal because the exposed nerve has become infected.
