Little Doves Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten has provided the community of Monroe outstanding early childhood education for over twenty-five years. Many of our first students have returned as parents, enrolling their own children, to the delight of the Little Doves teaching staff.
Little Doves Preschool and Kindergarten aims to build the body of Christ by planting the seeds of Christ's Gospel in the hearts and minds of children through education.Toward that end, the school provides quality Christ-centered early childhood education for local children aged eighteen months to 6 years of age.

The Little Doves Preschool is an exciting exploration into learning for three and four year olds that provides stimulating large and small muscle development, manipulatives, reading, creative and fantasy play, and an introduction to phonics and numbers. The Pre-K program @ Little Doves is specifically designed to OVER prepare your child for Kindergarten.
The Little Doves Preschool is an exciting exploration into learning for three and four year olds that provides stimulating large and small muscle development, manipulatives, reading, creative and fantasy play, and an introduction to phonics and numbers. An animal theme is used because it is universal, and because children relate readily to animals.
Little Doves has an excellent Advanced Pre-Kindergarten program with a low teacher/student ratio of 1 to 8 and a strong academic curriculum. It offers a nurturing Christian environment with one-on-one teaching, phonics-based language arts curriculum, and a Scott Foresman math curriculum. These combined with art, music, free play, and outdoor recreation create a very balanced and highly regarded program with a high success rate.
Our "Just for Twos" early childhood program is a parent-toddler program designed to introduce little ones to a classroom environment as a transition to preschool. We meet one day each week on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Parents or guardians enjoy story time, music, games and socializing with their children and other families.

Little Doves is a wonderful Christian preschool! The director and teachers are great with the children (and parents, too). They are caring and compassionate. When you watch them interacting with the kids, it is clear that the children are the reason they do what they do. Also, the facility and play structure are clean and safe.
One of my favorite things is that they offer Kindergarten! This gives our little ones another year to be in a small Christian setting before moving on to a traditional elementary school. We love Little Doves!
