Mill Creek
Smile program and a small percentage of every purchase you make will be donated to our school. Mill Creek Co-op Preschool's (MCCP) philosophy is that children learn through play and exploration and that this learning is a fundamental need of the young child. We believe that parents can support this learning through positive reinforcement, encouragement and understanding, and that parent education is a key element in providing this support.

To provide a supervised and directed learning group experience for both parents and children. To assist in the development of our children's emotional, physical and cognitive abilities by exposing them to a variety of interactive play situations with other children and adults. Benefit from learning new skills to assist them with problem-solving and other parenting issues in an educational environment.
Services
Mill Creek Cooperative Preschool is a non-profit school run by our parents under the guidance of our teacher and Edmonds Community College. Co-op philosophy believes parents are a vital part of the early childhood educational experience and, unlike a traditional preschool, our assistant teachers, board of directors, housekeepers, administrators and fundraisers are all parents.
Focus on self identity, communicating ideas, including others, imagination/creativity, independence, self care and collaboration. Our school follows the same schedule as the Everett School District and is in session from September through mid-June. Teacher Brandi has 3.5 years of teaching experience under her belt (from preschool-aged kids on up) but with a twist!
Due to the pandemic, we are unable to offer in-person open houses at our school. Instead, we have created a video about our school that we hope will answer most of your questions. Need more info? Please email our Registrar at Registrar@millcreekcoop.org. Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis on our open enrollment date.

My son will be starting his second year at this school in the fall. We're looking forward to another great year of playing and learning. Teacher Kimberly is a wonderful teacher, and she's great with the kids. I enjoy interacting with other parents at the meetings, and I love being involved with the co-op.

Love this preschool! 3 of my children have gone here! Learning through play and low ratios! What more could you ask for? Parents that want to be involved, families that get to experience education with their children, and our children get to learn so much. They have such a caring teacher to work with and it is so fun to see the kids confidence and independence grow!

My son is about to start his second year at Mill Creek Co-Op Preschool. We have nothing but great things to say about Teacher Kimberly and the school. Teacher Kimberly has been such a positive influence on my son. He wakes up every morning asking if he gets to go to school today. I also love the great community of people we have met being part of MCCP.

We absolutely love the Mill Creek Co-op! Our son now 5 was in the 2's class with Teacher Kimberly (who is amazing, spunky, full of love for the kiddos, and lots of fresh ideas!) Now my daughter is in the 2's class and seeing her form relationships with her classmates, learn through play, and explore new concepts is amazing! She can't hardly wait for preschool days every week. lol
I used to feel intimidated by the idea of a CO-OP but honestly it is such a welcoming format for parents! The class feels encouraging, engaging, and laid back. Everyone helps and supports each other. They say "It takes

We joined the school in March 2016 and immediately fell in love!!! My son who is a total introvert has really stepped out of his comfort zone since attending this school. Teacher Kimberly is awesome!!! She really takes the time to make sure each child gets attention. She has really shown me what a preschool teacher should be like. The curriculum is also great. Even though it is play based they are secretly learning new things and they don't even know it!! My son is returning in the fall for the pre k class and we cant wait!!!

This is a great pre-school and Teacher Kimberly is amazing!
Everyone is welcoming and helpful. Teacher Kimberly has everything organized so well that class runs very smoothly and all the helping parents know what to do at all times. There are also multiple stations for sensory, art, math, science, and role play and even an outdoor playground.
Don't be afraid to call and ask questions! Everyone is very approachable and easy! I was hesitant to sign up because I was unsure of the obligations required for the co-op, but once I talked to a few of the parents they assured me that it's pretty easy
