Mikoto Masahilo Nakazono (1918 - 1994) was a Japanese acupuncturist, Oriental medicine practitioner, ranked as 6th Dan in Judo and ranked as 9th Dan in Aikido. He studied for many years "directly" under Morihei Ueshiba O' Sensei, the founder of Aikido, The Art of Peace. Nakazono Sensei was one of the first to bring Aikido and Kototama Practice to the West.
Dr. Jody is a healer in every sense of the word. As a gifted acupuncturist, she not only relieves physical pain, but more importantly calms my anxiety and relaxes my wandering mind. I leave our sessions feeling restored, renewed, and genuinely cared for. I was referred to Dr. Jody Erickson of Kansha Japanese Acupuncture by my excellent message therapist, Farland Johnson.

Dr. Erickson does amazing work! Like the previous reviewer I came in initially to have work done on a tweaked shoulder and she was able to release it in just one session. Since then I have returned several times to get acupuncture done and each time I come out feeling like a new person. Dr. Erickson has become a regular part of my physical upkeep routine and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Two weeks ago I woke up with an achy tight shoulder and absolutely no strength in my right arm and shoulder. I tried ice packs, heating pads, stretching and massage. Nothing worked. Went to Kansha and Dr. Jody Erikson did trigger point release acupuncture on my neck and shoulder. I can already feel strength returning and have scheduled a follow up appt. thanks dr. Jody!
