All 3 of my daughters ranging from 10 months to 11 years old have gone to Montessori and it has always been the best experience. It is like having a second family and they make having to be away from children so much easier on me and them. They have gained a ton of knowledge coping skils, passing, how to be a friend, independence and manners.

Services
In the classroom we place a strong emphasis on cultural awareness. The child is given the opportunity to explore people and places around the world with cultural "suitcases" which contain pictures, objects and stories of different cultures. The child also has access to globes, country flags and puzzle maps of the world and each of the continents.
The sensorial materials provide opportunities for the child to experience the natural order of the physical environment using sensory elements such as color, texture, sound, smell, shape, size, and weight. The child is given concrete experiences with abstract concepts such as thick and thin and big and little.
Children's Montessori Center provides an MIA (Montessori Institute of America) certified school program for children between the ages of 4 weeks to 12 years of age. The school offers a full day program for all ages and a part day program for preschool and kindergarten. The hours of operation are 6:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday.
It maintains a teacher to student ratio of 1:4. The infant program offers age appropriate activities to stimulate the early stages of development. The child has access to infant friendly books and materials that help foster growth and development and is introduced to activities such as painting with his/her hands and feet.
The preschool classroom is designed to meet the social, emotional, developmental, and academic needs of children between the ages of approximately 32 months to 5 years. This classroom maintains a teacher to student ratio of 1:10. The work in this classroom goes more in depth preparing the child for not only successful every day living.

Im shocked that someone can be so cruel as to write such a negative review about this school and attack the owner like this. My two children have been going to Children's Montessori Center for the last five years and I haven't witnessed anything discribed as what the last person has outlined - EVER!
This is a high end Montessori Center and I feel my children are in a safe and clean environment. I have never walked into CMCI to find my children or anyone else's children unattended. In addition, I feel the staff is very professional and friendly. I have never witnessed any teachers
