As our name indicates, Chicago Luaus focuses exclusively on Polynesian services and products. If your event revolves around a tropical or Island theme, you have come to the right place!
Chicago Luaus owners have a background in Polynesian dance and drum, world Samoan fire knife (siva nifo oti afi) competition competitors on oahu and in California, Tahitian dance finalists in the world renowned Tahiti fete in San Jose and have spent the majority of their lives cooking up and serving local ono Hawaiian food in their restaurant, the tiki terrace.

Taro is a quintessential staple of Hawaii. On the Islands, it is often pounded and served as "poi". At Chicago Luaus, we special order our taro from California. Our staff slices the taro root fresh the day before your luau event for a product similar to a potato chip. We then add the final touch of Hawaii with a homemade pineapple salsa.
At Chicago Luaus, our main courses are all authentic, local style Hawaiian dishes, including Kalua pork, chicken Katsu, teriyaki chicken and Kalbi short ribs. Table coverings, table decorations, plate decorations, serving plates, serving bowls, sauce bowls, and individual serving utensils shown are not provided with food trays.
Let us know what you are looking for, or if you need some ideas or guidance, luaus is what we do! Our team would love to suggest popular dishes that your guests would love! Once we have an idea, we can write it all up in a quotation/proposal format. When you look over the proposal, you simply fill out the last page and either scan and email or fax it back to us- It's that simple.
Since 2004, we have listened and heard our customers. We've put together a series of packages to fit any size luau, and any size budget- we are all about customizing and making the process simple. Moderately priced and perfect for most backyard luaus, it includes three different courses with a bit more variety, beverages, and entertainment.
