Just signed my two sons up last night. These people treat you like family, are extremely knowledgeable, and my kids cannot quit talking about how much they love it there. We did the free pass, and I just couldn't be happier with the training they receive. I cant wait to be able to get myself in better shape so I can join the adult class. 5 star all day long and then some.

My family started here in hopes of instilling confidence in my 8 yr. old son. Shortly after that, my daughter wanted to join as well, because, in her words, "I want to have fun too". My wife and I quickly found the people here to be some of the best around. Since then I have started classes and formed great friendships. If you are looking for discipline, inner perspective, challenges, goals, physical and mental fitness come here and let Joe Watson, Jonathan and Jenna Knight, along with coaches Clay, Garret and Josh show you the benefits of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Came into town from Cincinnati, dropped in for a gi class, and a nogi class... Joe is an awesome down to earth instructor with vast knowledge of the game. This gym wasn't even an affiliate but they accepted me with open arms. Learned a few sweet tricks in nogi, had some great rolls with the students. Anyone considering joining this gym needs to stop by as soon as you can, this is the perfect time and place to start your journey!!! I'll be back in town this season and I will definitely be back, thanks guys!

The instructor, Joseph Watson, is a personal friend of mine.
I have visited his school several times and he is very passionate about his craft. He has won multiple regional titles in the IBJJF tournament circuit at the Brown belt level and will continue to compete and win around the country. Given this, it is impossible not to believe in the curriculum taught at Maryville Jiu Jitsu.
If you are looking for legitimate BJJ instruction that will work in self-defense and competition then I would give his school a try. OSS
