We got a room here for one night while visiting the area, we checked in right away but didn’t actually get to our room until 8 at night, we opened our door to our room and it was not cleaned, beds were not made, trash everywhere from the last guest, not sure what the cleaning people were doing that they didn’t clean the room. Thankfully they had one room opened that was cleaned. I couldn’t imagine if they were completely sold out and we didn’t get a room. The only response we got from it from the front desk lady the next morning was sorry. Not acceptable that they didn’t do anything for

My husband and I were up in the area for work and decided to stay the night with our dog to visit Gooseberry Falls the next day. The hotel was very nice and cozy, and a well maintained and clean room. The best part of our stay was the amazing welcome we got from Russ at the front desk! He was professional and friendly. We will be staying here again anytime we visit the Two Harbors area.

Outstanding customer service from counter attendant (Drea ??). I showed up a week early by mistake, so I didn't have reservations. The town had a special event and all the hotels were booked. Drea worked her magic and found a room for one night. Great effort and this gave me the night to recover from my mistake.
In the times we're living in, where good employees are difficult to find, Country Inn has found a bright shining diamond!

Nice clean establishment. I liked having a hot tub to go use, plus the lobby was a good place to visit people in. A little hard to find(entrance is through McDonald's parking lot.) Nice being back off of 61 in Two Harbors, quiet and more private feeling even though you can walk to many places in town. The wifi really helped here since I didn't get much data on my phone in town. The negatives would be only having one ice machine, which is simply a convenience gripe. The price, however, the whole north shore is booked solid most of the summer and this is a fair deal considering. The breakfast didn

I highly recommend this hotel! Clean, newly decorated and convenient location! But most of all the Customer Service we experienced was well beyond our expectations and better than we have ever received at any place we have stayed. Russ is a gem and explained everything thoroughly and even had a packet made for guests with popular birds, trails, directions, maps, etc! Do not miss this little Inn! You will not be disappointed!

The Country Inn at Two Harbors was a wonderful experience. It's centrally located to all the sights. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offering was varied and plentiful. I enjoyed a good book in ample seating around the coziest fire in the gas fireplace in lobby. (The only thing missing was an elevator to the second floor.)

The employees we encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful. Our stay went very smoothly and it was nice and quiet. The rooms were clean and stocked with the necessary amenities. The reason I am leaving 3 stars instead of 5 is due to the bedsheets. Polyester doesn't breathe, and it isn't comfortable. I was not able to get a good night's rest during my stay because of this. If you could make the slight upgrade to 100% cotton top and fitted sheets, Country Inn Two Harbors would be the perfect hotel.

I came up with my two kids this week. Great hotel however I had some minor concerns when I was there that did not get addressed. Our bathroom door was really squeaky (LOUD) asked to get WD40, never happened. Lots of loud door bangs throughout the night. So these things combined the 3 of us didn't sleep the best. Also found a sports bra and used water bottle next to the bed. Microwave was dirty. But! We had fun in the pool, hot tub and the mini golf outside! Maybe we'd stay again?

This was our second stay here at Country Inn. We brought our puppy and got the dog friendly room both times. The room was clean and did not smell of other dogs. RUSS at the front desk is SO awesome and… friendly! He was very knowledgeable and helped us with everything we needed. We had some issues with the A/C in our room and turn down service but he addressed them promptly and even gave us a discount on our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

This is the CLEANEST hotel I have ever stayed at! You can tell the owners/care takers take pride in the place; it’s all immaculately maintained. And, they have a real breakfast spread; pastries, hot waffles and… fresh scrambled eggs with bacon, and then the usual yogurt, cereal, bagels, etc. We will definitely return next time we explore the north shore!
