This is a very long overdue review. I feel so lucky to have found Blue Sky Wellness Studio. I have scheduled appointments for acupuncture, massage and chiropractic services. Everyone that works there exceptional. They also accept some health insurance which I appreciate since I have benefits for alternative medicine. My review today is specifically for my experience with Jacob for chiropractic services. Jacob is a healer. I have had issues for many years with my hips, back, shoulder and ankle. I had injured my back this morning doing deadlifts and couldn't move because of it. Dr. Jacob opened up a spot in his schedule to see me and I don't even know what to say. I've seen few chiropractors in my life and I've never had this kind of experience with a chiropractor. He did a thorough assessment and did his adjustments. I went from not being able to move out of a sitting/laying position to being able to get up on my own. This was the best chiro experience ever and made another appointment to see him soon. Blue Sky Wellness is FANTASTIC! I cannot get enough of the chiropractic care here. It truly changed my life and my relationship with my body. The acupuncture is magic and helped my mom regain motion in a locked thumb and I also really enjoyed the massage therapist I saw. Front desk staff is kind and friendly. Highly recommended.

I cannot express enough how great this place has been to me. I first started going for their massages, and it’s conveniently located down the street from my apartment.

After grieving the closing of Kenton Wellness in the mess of Covid 19, I felt blessed to find Blue Sky Wellness in Mississippi. It was easy to book appointments online, and the billing has been professional and accurate, but the real magic here--at least from my point of view--is Robin, a gifted masseuse and healer.

I'm heading into my 4th appointment as I write this review. My body is less tender, my joints are more flexible, and the inflammation that plagues my lower legs is much reduced. I'm grateful.

I love my acupuncture appointments with Sabrina. Not only is she knowledgeable, but very thoughtful and funny too! She always tailors the treatments to exactly what I need even when it's hard for me to pinpoint. I feel so much better mentally and physically after my appointments. After my first session with Sabrina, I booked a session for my boyfriend immediately. He loves it here too!
The rest of the staff is super friendly too. Michelle is always welcoming when I come in. I highly recommend!

Update: After I turned to writing a review here and on Facebook to share my experience, Tova and I spoke on the phone and she refunded my money to me.
Like many other reviewers note, this place has a lot of insurance confusion. This wellness center produced more anxiety just from me booking with them. I informed the receptionist (who turned out to be the owner Tova) that I wanted to book a full spectrum appt only if the naturopath was covered through insurance. Tova recommended I book all my appt then and cancel later if insurance didn’t cover. Turned out it did not so I called and left a message

I absolutely love getting treated here. The owner and acupuncturist, Tova, made me feel so relaxed and secure during my first acupuncture treatment. I was very nervous, but we talked through my apprehension and I have never felt better! I can't thank her enough for healing my body, and easing my thoughts. 10 out 10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have been coming to Blue Sky Wellness studio for over a year for acupuncture, chiropractic, and massage care. I suffered from severe sciatica and other typical aches and pains of a construction worker. After a few months I no longer deal with all the pain I grew so accustomed to. Recently have started to develop carpal tunnel in my right hand and Dr. Marin has been able to stop it in its tracks! Definitely recommend Blue Sky and all their staff for anyone looking to feel better and enjoy a better quality of life!

You owe it to yourself to get a massage here... Very professional, clean and relaxing space, and very skilled massage therapists. Left feeling relaxed and happy. Basically I feel like my cat probably feels every day which is a pretty good way to feel after a massage. Will most definitely be back.

I enjoyed the treatments I received however the administration and overhead of this company leaves a LOT to be desired. My treatments were all covered by insurance however that didn't stop them from sending me a full bill for the cost of all the treatments I received. They supposedly lost my insurance card and instead of asking about it at one of the dozen appointments after or, you know, calling me, they sent me a huge bill. When I called, the front desk told me they couldn't help me and I needed to contact their contracted billing company. My provider (acupuncture) actually laughed

Hmm...came in and took the time to fill out a form to get things rolling and also see what my insurance would cover. The gal at the front desk said they would call me next week (after Labor Day). As of 9/17, I haven't gotten a call or email from anyone.

Although Tova Marin was very understanding when I told her about all my pain and easy to talk to, the treatment itself was very painful. I have been to many acupuncturists over the years, and I don't believe that it has to hurt to work. I commented on the fact that it was more uncomfortable for me than usual, and she told me that my body was resistant to the needles. I felt as though it was unfair to blame me for the pain I felt during treatment. I'm sure she is very good at what she does, however her particular technique did not resonate with me personally.

If there was a zero star review, this would be it y'all.

The massage I received was great (really), however the customer experience you wouldn't believe just to finally be finished with this place was horrible.

I thought I was able to receive a massage through my health care, only after my massage had they confirmed it doesn't cover it. Whatever. So I had ended up paying full price rather than the copay, which was fine...until the next few months.

Bridgit's acupuncture sessions were spot on, and her personality is lovely, warm, and calming. I have been to her twice, have already sent others her way, and will continue to do so even after I have moved away from the area.

I was so disappointed with my service at Blue Sky after hearing such good reviews. The receptionist was absolutely horrid to me--truly terrible customer service starting from the moment I walked in--before I even had the chance to say anything! She was giving me weird looks and blatantly ignored me several times when I first arrived and then later when I was talking to her... It was bizzare! I almost wondered if she thought I was someone else? Like maybe she mistook me for someone she hated? My massage therapist was awkward and the massage was pleasant but nothing special. I was referred to Blue Sky Wellness by a friend when my sciatica was playing up in a pretty severe way--pain and numbness traveling down my leg to my foot. I had 6 or 7 sessions with Dr Soszka and I was 95% better. The pain was managed and has been for over a year. Last week, I had a back spasm like I had never experienced and I immediately called for an appointment with Dr Soszka. He was able to see me that same day and, again, made a significant impact on the pain and spasms. After being miss diagnosed for a year by my medical Doc a customer at my work recommened Doctor Soszka @ Blue Sky Wellness , wow what a great recommendation it turned out to be , Doctor S. is fantastic , I have never been treated so well by a medical professional before , he is thorough and compassionate and I never feek rushed . In after-massage-bliss, I learned that my treatment wasn't covered and I would have to pay the cash rate - even though the office had checked my insurance prior to my treatment. I was totally bummed and all of my relaxation from my massage was lost when my debit card was swiped.

However, a week later, the office manager e-mailed and called to let me know the owner had decided to completely refund my card because of the miscommunication regarding my insurance coverage. I was so impressed and relieved!
