Kendall Pyper was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho earning an Associate Degree, then moved on to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Instrumental Music Education, graduating in April of 2000.
Although he enjoyed teaching bands and choirs in Oregon public schools, state budget cuts in 2003 caused him to lose his job and forced him to recognize the instability of his profession.Deciding to seek a more stable career to better provide for his family, and through the influence of some close friends, Kendall decided to research the dental profession.
