Welcome to Riversbend Rehabilitation where we offer both residential rehabilitation and outpatient therapy services to persons with neurological impairments including traumatic brain injury, CVA and spinal cord injuries. Riversbend Rehabilitation residential currently consists of several large customized, handicapped accessible ranch homes.
Each home is equipped with private rooms and an on-site therapy/activity room to accommodate six residents. We also have nine semi-independent homes to accommodate higher functioning residents. Riversbend Rehabilitation is set up to preserve a homelike atmosphere with an attempt to combine residents who are at compatible behavioral and injury levels.

Services
The residents play an active role in the decision making process of their programs. Our programs are structured, and yet, allow choices that preserve the residents' dignity and promote their independence. Therefore, our program is behaviorally oriented. It is set up for natural, self-determining consequences in which the individual may be graduated to different levels of programming.
Our rehabilitation wing, located within our main office, has several private therapy rooms. These include an exercise/weight room, therapy pool and hot tub, all of which are handicap accessible. The pool and hot tub are equipped with water hydraulic lifts for smooth and safe transfers. All services are outcome focused, and utilize positive, creative approaches when confronted with the challenges of rehabilitation and behavior.
Our Activity Center, located on centralized Riversbend campus allows for therapeutic Day Programming as well as enjoyable recreation for our residents. The Activity Center is directly overseen by a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist who attempts to combine recreation, functional activities, and pre-vocational services.
Riversbend is licensed to provide adult foster care for 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, and 52 weeks/year. Working any shift and overtime is expected for continued employment.
