Examine the ears for infection, ear mites, allergic reaction and other related health issues. Vaccines: Vaccines offer protection against major viral and bacterial diseases that cats and dogs may be exposed to. At Absecon Veterinary Hospital we will set up a vaccination program for your pet to provide protection for the diseases of concern in your area.

This place is absolutely horrible! I called and set up a time for me to bring my guinea pig in to be seen for the following day. They told me a different price then what they had told me the day before. $30 more! Then I had called later in the evening to see if I could bring him in sooner since I was being charged the "ER" price anyway. They told me no and told me that there was not going to be an exotic veterinarian there tomorrow for when my appointment was scheduled. And they told me the second price I was given was incorrect also. So it went from $88 to $118 to almost $150. Just to be seen

This place is not very cooperative. I tried to make an appointment for the shots that they had said were due. I made an appointment with a tech for 3 of the 4 shots but had to make a second appointment because only a vet could do the fourth one.. My dog now has a an ear infection so I call willing to pay the emergency visit rate thinking okay I can get everything done but no they don’t do vaccinations in the emergency expensive visit. I have been going there a year and have never seen a veterinarian face to face.

My dog was attacked a few weeks prior to me coming here. We brought him to garden state vet, where I was charged 2500 for them to not even close his wounds, just clean and cut them, give him medicine and watch him over night. Fast forward a few weeks, and my dog got out of the yard and all his cuts reopened . Hes brought to Absecon Vet and they discuss with me how his wounds should have been closed in the first place, and that this was bound to happen because they weren’t closed. Absecon vet did the procedure the right way and the way it should have been done in the first place. The bill was

I had left a critical review here but now I'm changing it to 5 stars because I had waiting for 2.5 hours while my cat was uncomfortable and they didn't seem all that busy. However, my sister brought my cat back to the vet and they helped her immediately and gave medications for my cat who has improved dramatically the past few days. My sister also said everybody was very nice and helpful. I am going to assume they just forgot about me that day or that they were busy with stuff I could not see. My sister was very pleased with everyone.

I very sadly had to say goodbye to my little Gizmo after 15 years, and it was the hardest and most painful decision I've ever had to make in my life. I am truly grateful to Absecon Veterinary Hospital and all their wonderful staff for being so very kind and genuinely charismatic during my time of loss. They went above and beyond my expectations and really made dealing with my loss a little less painful. Gizmo's brother Tyson from the same litter is still going strong and will be going to Absecon Veterinary Hospital for all of his future needs. Thank you AVH Doctors and Staff!

Very friendly and responsive staff. I love how well structured their system is- from parking in a numbered spot to calling to check in, having a tech bring you inside for your appointment, etc. Having an older pitbull who isn’t exposed to many outsiders or other dogs, the staff is very accommodating to your pet’s needs. They made the experience for both an anxious pet and owner (me!) very smooth and reassuring. Please ask about pricing before making decisions if you cannot afford the medical care for your pet (medical bills are expensive for humans and animals!)

I was not sure what to expect as I had never taken my guinea pig to the vet before, I’m happy to say it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, I waited for maybe 10 minutes before we were taken to a room, and the wait for the Vet was even less. Dr. Lambert was wonderful, as were the vet techs. Check out was a breeze as well.
