Is this place still open? I just showed up for an appointment I had made several weeks ago, during regular business hours, and no one was there. The lights were off and the clinic was locked up. No one answered the phone. A complete waste of my time, which is significant because I had to leave work to come here.

We got off on a rocky start due to the fact my glasses weren’t delivered on time due to a miss communicated expectation. However, once delivered they were in absolute great condition, and they made sure everything was communicated clearly after that.

Dr. Simonek and her staff took great care of me recently when I was experiencing pain and redness in one eye. Not only were they able to work me into their schedule, but Dr. Simonek provided professional and personal care as well as immediate relief and help me feel better. The entire staff was exceptionally welcoming and the eye exam itself was a new level of care. The Dr. took time to explain to me the various aspects of my vision and crafted a perfect combination of contact lenses to help me see well. Dr. Simonek is the most charismatic provider I've ever had. She explains everything so thoroughly from the imaging to insurance benefits. Caroline was remarkably patient performing the tests on my flinchy eyes. Overall the staff here goes above and beyond to give you an amazing experience. Wow, best experience I have ever had. She took more time than any other Optometrist ever did. I have a bit of a hard time with the eye tests and she was so patient with me.
Her pleasant attitude is infectious and her office staff made it a seamless and pleasant process.

This office gets 5-stars alone for all their precautions taken during the pandemic. It took a few tries to get an appointment, with all the restrictions, but the admin/eye technician kept me up to date and made sure I had my appointment secure and settled. All my interactions with her were very pleasant and easy. They made sure to only schedule one patient at a time (they were strict with overlap) and everything looked well sanitized/we all took the time to wash our hands thoroughly.

Dr. Simonek is the best eye doctor I've been to since my eye surgery. Not only is Dr. Simonek fantastic, her staff is also. Austin Eye Studio cares about there clients 100 percent. I was amazed after I left today. Any friends and family I am referring to come here.

From my initial call to picking up my new glasses I always felt like I was in good hands.
I called and made my appointment with Lori. My glasses broke and newly enrolled in my new insurance plan with no insurance card. Despite that Lori worked with me over the phone to track down my insurance info and explain my benefits. Whew! So relieved! Made my appointment.

Dr. Simonek was very thorough but also very efficient. She's the first optometrist that has been able to show me pictures of the inside of my eyes. I like how she assured me my eyes are healthy! I was able to get a polarized prescription pair of Ray Ban for $105 with my health insurance. Great deal! Super happy customer! She goes above and beyond to make sure clients are satisfied. Awful, we were bullied, hung up on and they "held up our authorisation" so that we couldn't see another doctor. Huge headache, extremely unprofessional, less than transparent and dishonest.. . Buyer beware, these folks are mean, do not give them your insurance number or a credit card as they will put you through what i went through.
Iciing on the cake? These are our neighbours, we live across the street. Well I will make sure that everyone I know and even my casual acquaintances at the HEB the folks that

Amazing customer service. I left very satisfied with my appointment with some samples of potential new contacts and ordered some really cute glasses at a very fair price. She was so helpful and kind! Great place to get your annual eye exam. They have a great selection of eyeglasses in addition to sunglasses. Being Asian, I always have a hard time finding a pair of frame that would fit my face structure. I was able to find a pair here! The staff and Doctor are knowledgable and definitely not pushy; they took time to address questions and carried a pleasant demeanor. Their soundtrack is a plus too!
