Some of the caregivers are barely adequate. We did luck out on one. I have never had so many no shows, and the agency is never aware when a care giver doesn't show up. Most of the caregivers don't even call out. It leaves the clients sitting waiting until we call the agency. Their scheduling process is HORRENDOUS. And the office staff blames each other. Their communication between staff, caregivers and clients is NONEXISTENT. I don't know if other agencies would be any better.

I would give them a minus 20 if I could. They are a group of individuals who overstep and take liberties with their clients information such as continuously giving client information to companies without the clients permission or knowledge so these strangers can call continuously to solicit and harass the client. They tend to implement new rules that are violating the rights of their clients that serve to boost their legitimacy as a care agency. If you question them or call them on their less than legitimate practices they LIE. The office staff from top to bottom is rude ignorant and has a tendency

I found Neighborly when I was looking to help get my 83 year old Dad to dr's appointments as he recovers from a fractured pelvis. I am in Maryland and he's in PA, so I feel a little helpless BUT Morgan and Jill were terrific in helping me through the process and they sent Celestine out to transport my dad. Between helping him get out of the house, into her car, driving to the appointment, waiting for him, and bringing him back after, I couldn't have asked for any better experience and both my parents loved her and found her so professional. We hope she will be able to help Dad out on a few more

First off, may I say from my initial phone call to the returning of phone calls I have been so nicely surprised! Finding a new agency for my mom was a daunting task.
Morgan who I initially talked with was EXCELLENT, she understood all my concerns and really listened and explained how the care for my mom worked.
I didn't use them right away because of a scheduling problem since I already had a caregiver in place.
A month later, I interviewed with them and I met with such a wonderful woman, who is caring, helpful and so proactive with anything she thinks I should know and any tasks that need to

I would give this company a 0. The company will promise you a lot more than they are capable of doing. The aides and staffing are not capable of running this agency.
The communication is horrible, when you call about a concern, nobody will return your calls. They are only in contact with the aides, not you.
The aide was supposed to work until 6pm, but left at 12 noon, nobody from the office contacted us.
I would not recommend this agency to anyone.

It's so sad to see all of the bad reviews some people are leaving Neighborly Home Care.This company is by far one of the best home care companies I have ever worked for. They genuinely care for their employees, clients, and family members! If you're in search for a home care agency for your loved ones or as a caregiver, PLEASE don't pass up an awesome agency, because of someone else. This company is truly a caring one. You can't say that for a lot of these agencies.

I started with this company over a year ago and I can't say enough about them. The staff in both offices are awesome. Always a pleasant attitude, either early morning or late afternoon. My clients expect the best from me and the office. And they get that. This is the first time.....in a long time I can say I love my job. Disregard the negative stuff and stay positive.
