Fantastic location. As we went to see WWE Smackdown at The Scope, quick 5 minute walk. Friendly and helpful desk… staff, clearly an older hotel that has had some upgrades.
Clean bed, clean bathroom. Only complaint is how thin the walls seem to be, could hear peoples conversation in the next room all night but that's why I bring ear plugs.
Would definitely recommend and would likely stay here again.

Wanted to stay there due to closeness to Norfolk Scope Arena where MEAC basketball tournament was played. Had to pay full amount up front for 4 days, which was surprising at first. So, due to the coronavirus the tournament was canceled the next day so we had to leave early, thinking we would only be charged for the time we stayed there. Well… management told us and reiterated no refunds! So even in a pandemic such as the coronavirus they offered no refunds, as hard as funds are to come by at this hard time. But they offered 3 days stay in their hotel for the future, that we will use for

Horrible customer service old building. Had a room I payed for ahead of time got here the room would not warm up an night audit daybe or how ever he say his name told me he can’t give my money back an he won’t change my room I got in a small verbal confrontation with the man pack all my stuff up an proceeds to leave. Until another desk clerk… upgraded my room. 1 out of 4 elevators work an sound like a dragging chain in one that’s not working. Every time I left my room my key would not work had to go to front desk every time. Would not recommend an would not stay here ever

The pictures are very deceiving! The hotel is surrounded by a large gate due to the nature of its location (the… projects?). The pool is green and looks like a bacteria haven. The entry area is nice and updated but don't be fooled because once you get off the elevator, you enter into the hallway of doom. The hallway wreaks of mildew and the rooms are sticky of humidity. Crank the A/C down and freeze but once it stops, the humidity is back. I'm 5'2" and the bathroom sink is below my waistline. I felt like I was sitting on the floor because the toilet is so low.
