It's in a very quiet neighborhood immediately next to the AFB. It's a dared motel that is family owned. While it may be older, it's very clean. No bugs, no problems. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The owner was very nice. It's clean, safe, and quiet...and a better price than many other places. We would stay here again!

Great place to stay. Great location. My only 3 recommendations. 1 change the towels they had rips in them or were ready to break. 2 change the sheets it was a "smoking room" me and my wife do not smoke but it was the only available with the jacuzzi, the sheets had holes in them, 3 Chand and replace light bulbs some were not working or not there at all. But overall good stay. You'll be about 40 minutes away from VA Beach. There are also a couple of nice restaurants near by. I did not take any photos but it was great.

This hotel is a dump. The first room we went to had tons of spiders and small bugs (thankfully not bed bugs) in the bed. The manager told us he rarely rents that room, and insisted to switch us to another room. He was very nice about it. The next room had 2 dead spiders in the bathroom, but no obvious live bugs. The microwave didn't work. There were no Kleenex in the Kleenex box. There were tons of bugs everywhere outside. There was no elevator. The location was weird. It was right next to an air force base and we could not take the obvious choice of roads to the hotel - we had to take a very

We got there at about 1am and I went to check in but the idiot behind the glass said he wouldn't allow anyone but me to check in unless he PERSONALLY saw them. I had to wake my husband AND children up & parade them before this, this person! I've NEVER heard of this in 50+ years of traveling the world over!
NEVER have I encountered such a humiliating experience. We only stayed one night then left as soon as we woke up.
The room wasn't memorable other than the toilet seat didn't fit properly, the wall sockets were overloaded and a major fire hazard and the fridge smelled

I t appears the manager is not handling the online business. It advertised for $50 a night. When I checked in, they said I had prepaid. They would not provide a receipt. After checking my credit card transactions, I discover they overcharged! For 3 nights at $50/night it should have been $150 plus tax. They charged $202. What a rip-off!
