Dr. Szeto founded Loop Optometry to provide a combination of excellent eye care, personal care, and style to your experience. This is a great, friendly, beautifully decorated optometry office with a great selection of glasses. The staff are very welcoming and willing to help their costumers and not just make them buy frames.
The best optometrist I visited since I live in the USA. They clearly understand your needs, do not pressure you to buy anything and give you the time to think about what works best for you. In my case I was debating between glasses and contact lenses and I was afraid to use lens. They made me try the lenses for free for some time and let me evaluate how I feel about it.

Dr Szeto and her practice and staff are great! I've been coming here for 3 years already. It used to be a short walk to get here since I went to the dental school nearby. Now that I graduated and am working, I still make the longer commute to see her! She's super personable and knowledgeable and I never have had any problems with the prescriptions. Ordering contacts and my glasses were super easy and convenient. Highly recommend!

Not a crazy huge selection in store for glasses and sunglasses but enough, and everything else can be ordered. No issues using my VSP insurance here (Lenscrafters doesn't fully accept so you don't get to maximize your savings). I want to give a shoutout to Darin for his help getting some frames picked out and fitted. Super nice to work with. You really help to make a difference with repeat customers/patients!

Incredible service + extremely COVID-19 friendly during the pandemic.
This practice has always been accommodating to making an appointment within 2 weeks while also keeping me updated on when my prescriptions are ready.

Dr. May Szeto is Amazing. My husband and I had our first appointments today at Loop Optometry. The office itself is very clean and modern, and our eyes were examined using state of the art technology! 3D images of our eyes were taken and shown to us in a very cool and also very useful way. Dr. Szento than conducted a full optical exam and explained to us both in depth the results and what was best for our eyes going forward. My husband was given prescription for Restasis and I was given prescription polarized sunglasses. 5-Stars for Dr. Szeto and Loop Optometry!

Super efficient, made an appointment through a phone call, walked in and out in 25 minutes. Very organized and friendly staff, place was spot less and sanitized thoroughly, I was the only patient at the time (they lock the door to only allow maybe 1 patient inside at a time). They have the latest technology = no more puffs in my eye and no more pupil dilations! They were able to get a full 3D scan of the inside of my eye, get a new prescription for me, and check for anything else related to my eye health, all in less than 25 min. Can't beat that!

Dr. May was extremely informative and friendly. She was very patient with me as it was my first time visiting the optometry. I appreciate the trial run before ordering my annual worth of contact lenses. Everybody's been extremely nice and efficient here at Loop and I will definitely return next year!!

Got my prescription for glasses and contacts done here for the first time in late December. Was able to get my appointment only 2 weeks in advance. Darin at the front desk was very friendly and proactive in reaching out via email to check my insurance and set up the appointment. My appointment went really smoothly. Dr. Szeto was also very friendly and performed the exams with care and attention to detail. They were very transparent and had all my insurance info prepared so that I would know the costs. I really appreciated that.

Was up for my annual visit a few months back (during COVID times) which made me a bit hesitant about going in at first. However, they were upfront about the precautions they're taking and felt comfortable with what they'd outlined.
Visit was straight-forward, and it felt like they were following the precautions they outlined over email.
Maybe just me being a noob, but if you're planning on getting your eyes dilated, don't forget to bring your own sunglasses (though nbd if you don't - they have roll-up ones available

Build for services I didn't request and due to my toddler letting loose with a sneeze we got asked to leave before I could pick out my frames. if you're a single parent who has to take your kids everywhere with them like I do I would not recommend this optometrist. Not very family friendly or very kid friendly.

I love their service. I had my eye exam here right before thanksgiving. Dr. May and her assistant Darin were so friendly. What really impressed me was May used some new instrument for the eye exam, which reduces a lot of the uncomfortable compare to some of the old methods in the eye exam. I really love her tool of measuring eye pressure. I haven't even had a feeling and it was done!
At first I thought they had a really little selection of the glasses, however Darin is really good at picking frame for the customer.
It is also easy to find a parking spot on Clementina St.

as usual, the expertise and knowledge is incomparable. i always leave knowing more about not only my vision but how vision, in general, evolves and changes over time. plus, i always leave with the exact solution to support my personal needs. this was a great find over 3 years ago ... and i have no doubt i'll be coming here for years to come.

I recently went into Loop for my annual eye exam, and I was very impressed about how well they followed COVID protocols, and how everything was sparkling clean. The staff was diligent, friendly and very professional. Dr. Szeto was exceptional and very patient throughout the entire exam. She was also very thoughtful about maintaining space and keeping the equipment clean. I walked out of Loop feeling great and equally important safe.

I wasn't sure where to get an eye exam during Covid times (I usually go to Kaiser but they aren't taking appointments right now), so I was really glad when I found out Loop Optometry near me was open. Luckily they take VSP insurance and were able to fit me in for an appointment pretty quickly! Dr. May Szeto is friendly and professional as are staff members Jamie and Darin, who helped me with lens info and were so prompt with communication. Masks are required during their limited appointment times, so I felt safe during my visits. I'm so glad I found an optometrist I like and trust

I've been going to Loop Optometry for over 2 years now and they are absolutely amazing! Dr. Szeto is very welcoming, personable, and clarifies the problems she is seeing as well as offers me various options to solve the problem. From my early signs of Glaucoma to getting me in contact with the proper LASIK folks around town.
The staff is amazing too, ready to help always and quickly turnaround responses via email or phone. I highly recommend going to Loop!!

Loop Optometry is such a breath of fresh air. I went for an eye exam and contact lens exam. I booked my appointment a week in advance and submitted the paperwork ahead of the time. On the day of exam, I got in and out of office within 30 minutes. They didn't try to up-sell me contact lenses or whatsoever. Dr. Szeto was nice, thorough, and efficient. Office staff were super friendly and helpful. Their glasses selection also looked great and I will surely come back when I need a new pair.
p.s. I wish they have an online booking system and document submission. Anyways, they were very responsive
